wife took my our daughter to Ferdinand. They both liked it alot. the flu has also decided to hit our house. first victim is my son who turns one on Monday. poor guy has been puking everywhere. sucks not being able to make him feel better
My wife took our almost 3 year old son to Ferdinand over the holidays. She said he got upset and started crying when the Dad bull died (or something like that). She said he got out of his seat and started looking for me in the dark movie theater. and
Got this for my little girl for Xmas: Easily her favorite gift. Pillow pets are awesome but this one literally smells like a strawberry milkshake. She wouldn’t be caught dead without it.
Baby girl #3 born this morning after an emergency c-section. 38.5 weeks. Mom and baby are doing well. Spoiler
My daughter went through a couple of those phases, this to shall pass... then it’ll start again... then it’ll pass then it’ll start again and so on and so on
wont go to sleep or wont stay asleep? sounds counter intuitive, but we had a similar issue around that time and bumped up her bedtime from 8 to 7 and it went back to normal pretty quickly.
I would go in their room at night and see if anything sticks out that they might see that freaks them out or may set them off. a while back ours kept waking up and we realized that the infrared light on the camera was right in her line of sight when she would lay down.
Jr has an elevated temp and a dry cough. Made it 9 months without him catching anything. I guess I can’t complain. He slept an hour extra this AM and didn’t get up until 8:30.
If she just turned 2 she may be a little young for it - but if she's getting closer to 3 we got a 'time to wake' clock for our daughter and it works great. She knows when it turns green she can get up, so if she wakes up in the middle of the night she'll look over, it'll still be orange and she goes back to sleep.
My kid cut 4 molars in 2 weeks. I bathed him in Children's Motrin and gave him whiskey and milk prior to bedtime.
wife is currently freaking out about some Facebook thing going aroubd abouy motrin & dimetapp killing kids or something
My daughter is about to be 2 and a half and we're having a hell of a fucking time trying to get her to keep her pants on anymore. Whether she's awake or asleep we've had a lot of problems with her removing her pullups or underwear and she's been pissing the bed a lot.
9 year old is deathly afraid of needles and I just got a call from his pediatrician that he had an irregular lab and needs to retake his 9yo blood work. Pray for me at 9AM tomorrow.
I really fucked up. My wife is going out of town for back-to-back work trips for the next week and a half. She had an ultrasound with a lot of pictures/video so they gave us a flash drive with the images. My wife left it with me to put on our computer and send her some of the pictures. I know I had it when I picked our son up from daycare but I can't find it now. It isn't in my pants or any other logical place I would have left it. I'm absolutely clueless at this point.
did you check between the seat and the console? damn near impossible to find stuff that falls in there

So tonight I had to braid my little ponies for my daughter (about to turn 5) as she was putting hair bows in them. She dropped the bows twice off the couch and after the second time she looks right at them and says a word somewhere between “sit” and “shit”. I couldn’t make it out so I asked her to say it again and she did. Then she says “it’s a curse word Dad. I’m not supposed to say it but Mom says it sometimes”. Somehow without laughing I call my wife out and repeat the story. I’m sure she felt bad...but not as bad as rabid for losing some precious photos on a flash drive. Good luck man. Better start to row the boat.
Unfortunately yes. The only thing I found there was a lost chapstick and useless receipts. The only thing I can think of (beyond mindlessly putting it somewhere when I was busy with my son) is that I reached in to my pocket to get my keys and it fell out in the parking lot. I drove back to where I parked and couldn't fit it or any sign of it getting run over. I also checked with the grocery store and nothing had been turned it.
Holy shit. I found it! It was in my pants pocket and I missed it the first two times. Marriage saved.
Baby just got over a nasty stomach bug that required our first ER visit over the weekend. Now my wife has it. It’s only a matter of time before it claims me as its next victim. RIP Bruce
They were dress pants that were on a hanger. I checked them twice without taking them off the hanger. The third time I finally took it off and then it stopped eluding me.
I've lost my wallet like that before. I "checked" the pocket while they were on the hanger. I kept feeling where the pocket was, but since the pocket was hanging upside down the wallet was hanging about 6-8 inches below where i was feeling.
Update - it wasn't what anyone else would call a good trip to the phlebotomist but it was miles better than the last time we went 2 weeks ago.
Yes. Fortunately, the store is only like a mile away from my house. Frustrating nonetheless. I wasted more than an hour looking for it and cleaning things to search for it last night.
kid has first 100+ fever. Our Ped is getting very popular, but also shares an office with like 10+ other docs. Wife was on hold for a super long time just trying to get in, they A) wouldn't let her talk to a doc and B) booked her with a nurse practitioner. We may be looking at switching to another Ped. Dude is awesome but if you can't ever see him or talk to him without a 3 month out reservation, what's the point?
We're always able to get in the same day, or next morning if it's late when we call - anything outside of that would be pretty much unacceptable to us. The nurse practitioner wouldn't bother me if it was a last minute thing though.
called a couple times this morning and this was the final thing they could do. Hasn't been the first time we have felt shoveled to the side by not getting access we think is normal
Our pediatrician books appointments a month+ out but for any pressing issue (fever, ear infection, etc) the clinic always has doctors available and we can and will see any of them. Do the other doctors in the office not cover as a team?
