12 round pick and future Super Bowl MVP with the pick.
Emmett just went 16 yards untouched, fuuuuuuuck
This is obviously pre-PED Hochuli
Obligatory if we're gonna talk about the 90's ol
Damn, what a motor
This makes me mad
"George Iloka said in a podcast that in practice for Dallas, he tried to walk down into the box to disguise a coverage.
Kris Richard got pissed and told him to go back to his spot . Iloka said “Oh, you WANT them to know what we’re doin?!”.".......
"....Richard thinks about more football things in a day than I have learned in a decade and stuff, but this seems to violate a pretty basic principle: Don’t let the other team know what you are doing. Make them guess, in the hopes they guess wrong and you blow up their play.... "
....."But this was the second time something had come out about Richard demanding rigid and therefore predictable things from his defensive backs. In an edition of Jane Slater and Bobby Belt’s podcast a bit before the Iloka comments came out, they were interviewing an independent DB coach who had worked with some of Dallas’ secondary, including Chidobe Awuzie and Byron Jones....."
" DB trainer Clay Mack is one of the most respected trainers among NFL players. He related that he wanted to coach them in a specific technique at the snap, but was told that they were only allowed to use one technique by Richard. Belt explained the technique was called a kick-step, and of course, if it was the only technique allowed, the receivers had a much better idea of how to work free....Richard was supposed to bring some fresh ideas and improved performance to the Dallas defense. It turns out he was inflexible and unimaginative. This may not explain all the problems the defense had last season, but it is a very good start.... Maybe this concept was much more workable when Richard was coaching with the Seattle Seahawks and had a secondary so talented and feared that it earned the “Legion of Boom” nickname. Of course, it raises the question of whether any coach could have had similar success with that stable of DBs. It could also go a long way toward explaining why Richard became available for the Cowboys to hire in the first place as his stars began to depart..."
..."Well, maybe that idea of just beating the other team man to man sounds familiar to you. All the evidence points to that being the basic offensive philosophy of Jason Garrett..."
Sounds like a perfect match for Garrett.
Has Richard found a job yet?
It wasn't that long ago people were afraid he would get snatched up for a head coaching position. Life comes at you fast.
Garrett and Richard probably only have missionary sex
Not together I don't think*
here's hoping your team fails in hilarious fashion yet again, if not for the schadenfreude then because The Ticket is better when the Cowboys are losing.
However, as a fan of good music I'm honor bound to share this:
Not a bad D Line. I hope we get to see them play this year
filthy d line
Hopefully that helps out the garbage secondary we are about to trot out
No respect for Dontari.
Pretty sure Crawford is getting cut to pay for Griffen.
Griffin is getting like 6 Mil. Are we that close to the cap?
We’ve got 8.7 according to Spotrac pre-EG but I just assume they’ll shed where they can without hurting the team because anything they can rollover to next year will be helpful if there’s some cap reduction
Gotcha, that makes sense
I don’t think he’s healthy again either which won’t help his case to stay
maybe they’ll pull a Sean Lee and negotiate him down to a smaller $
Could convince him to stay for $3 mil and come out net negative on the EG deal and keep the depth
Radio saying Gerald McCoy tore his ACL in practice today.
what do you guys think? We going after Earl?
Don’t want him
We could probably use the help at safety but he seems to be a pain in the ass.
If he will take a 1 year deal for cheap then im fine with it. Wouldnt be the first or the last time we signed a shit head because of their talent. I am curious as to whether or not the restructure of Tyron's deal yesterday had anything to do with the cowboys knowing something was brewing
crazy to not want earl thomas. hell yeah i want him
Coaching staff reportedly had an in-house meeting about the prospect of bringing in Earl. Doesn't sound like McCarthy is super into the idea based on his presser
Thompson making me think not calling on Earl was a good idea
Also a pretty good half for a couple of black sheep in Connor Williams and Trysten Hill. Williams especially held up well against Donald a couple times.
So LVE just gonna be Sean lee v2 with the injuries
As soon as I talk up Connor he ends a drive because he gets knocked on his ass
Spinal stenosis at LB. no chance he plays more than a handful more games before finally giving it up
Trevon Diggs is Awuzie 2.0
He’s been in great position to make a play and then got beat twice now
Any update on Jarwin?
Why the fuck wouldn’t you tie it up there
blown acl allegedly
Is Garrett hiding somewhere secretly calling the plays ... wtf
Dak was in such a good rhythm
This team is gonna be dangerous when we find a HC
Didn't you guys hear that faint clapping in the background?
I thought kellen Moore was supposed to be some wonder kid?
nothing worse than seeing potential not come to fruition
Man last nights game had everything. Terrible, scared play calling. Bad offensive execution. Lackluster defense. And then the cherry on top? No real Cowboys loss would be complete without, despite all of those things, the team having another chance at the verrrrrrry end of the game and the refs winning the game for the other team. Beautiful. A modern classic.
