Collider did a top 50 superheroes movies of all time ranking (before Thor Ragnorak came out) and TDK was #1
It'll be hard to find any performance in any movie/medium to surpass what Ledger did as Joker, let alone in a superhero movie.

You know some dumbshit suit thinks his trump impression is the funniest thing ever and so that’s why he’s in the movie
I wish I didn’t see where this is going, but it’s pretty obvious at this point. The movie is going to try to be “edgy” and flip the dynamic. Wayne’s are going to represent corporate greed and excess wealth. They will somehow push Jack Napier into becoming the Joker. He’s an anti-hero, and the suits think it’s the greatest idea ever. When, anyone who knows anything about Joker also knows he only works as a fucking sociopath force of nature. Giving him any cause outside of anarchy and Batman, and... fuck. This is going to be horrible.
It just keeps getting worse. I'll just keep hoping there is a shift in creative in the DCU because it's garbage right now.
First I read that Ben Affleck is only going to be a producer on The Batman, then I read about this Baldwin-Trump shit for TW. It’s like Sylvio doing Pacino in reverse:
Just burn it all to the ground and start fresh. I mean, they'll obviously fuck it up again, but it is really the only option at this point
WB just needs to distribute DC movies the way they did with the Nolan trilogy. Let an outside studio be the creative force.
He was really great. How do you blow such an absolute layup with the DC connected universe so terribly?
