I am obviously in the minority, but I thought "Get Out" was incredibly overrated. I left like it would have been a better film if it stayed with the subtle racial stereotypes, but instead chose to devolve into a straight horror flick. Yes, I understand there were subtleties to the characters and it played a BIT on human trafficking, but I also felt a bit too heavy handed. Granted, I'm a white guy, so there's that.
Waiting on Valerian to start at 1:25, standing in WW while I wait. She's just about to come out of the trench. So fucking good.
I would guess maybe Aquaman since that's the only other movie currently filming. Although that doesn't come out until Dec 2018.
Kevin Conroy reads TDK ending monologue http://nerdist.com/hear-kevin-conroy-read-the-iconic-the-dark-knight-speech/ I'm rock hard right now
I did not like Batman and Harley Quinn much at all. The animation was a beautiful throwback to TAS, but the plot and dialogue were all over the place in regards to tone and pacing. Also, Spoiler No way should Harley ever be able to go toe to toe with Dick Grayson in hand to hand combat. Have her hit him with gas first or something else to make him off balanced, but not at full go. Granted, it probably bothered me more than it should because Grayson is one of my favorite DC characters.
Ol' Joss may be off Batgirl http://www.thewrap.com/joss-whedon-feminist-hypocrite-infidelity-affairs-ex-wife-kai-cole-says/amp/
Eh. Big fan of The Joker, easily number 2 character in the DCU for me ... but I like my Joker ambiguous and fucking insane. I don't want a tragic villain story which I am sure they will produce. I don't want to feel sorry for him.
Isn't he still in Suicide Squad 2 and Gotham City Sirens? Plus I'm sure The Batman. So now we'll have 2 Jokers?
also, The Batman isn't part of the established DC universe per Matt Reeves. http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2017/08...-will-not-be-part-of-the-dc-extended-universe In other words, DC/WB still have absolutely no idea what they are doing.
So I guess that ties in with Casey Affleck saying Ben isn't doing The Batman. But I'm sure next week, after sufficient panic, he will be quoted as saying it is "standalone" in the way it is set apart from the current DCEU storyline. Like it doesn't have any mention of the JL, or is set in the past. WB is just trying to keep its head above water until the Whedon reshoots on JL are finished, and they know if the DCEU is worth saving at this point after all negative shit storms outside Wonder Woman. If you know anything about comics, they can basically use the Flash: Flashpoint film to change anything they want.
Yep, WB needed to leave Joker alone for a couple decades because of how good Ledger was as the character.
I think Leto can do the character justice with a better script. He was on screen for a few scenes and barely said anything.
A movie can exist at any time in a universe if you just ignore the rest of the universe. Much like shitty posters on this board.
he's just goddamed awful all around. he legit sounds retarded when he does speak, his laugh is even worse, and the costume/makeup makes him look like zombie Flea from the chili peppers. everything about it is awful. this first scene might be the worst in any superhero movie and i'm including shaq in steel and kazaam.
