I just want everything on Netflix. I'm not paying everyone $5-10 a month when that'll cost me the same as a dull cable service.

I cut cable because I didn't watch enough to justify the price. Now the few things I do watch want me to pay a full price for it.

Caught Suicide Squad on HBO finally. What a load of steaming shit that movie was. How do you fuck up such a cool premise? Thought Will Smith was solid and of course Margot Robbie was good but the rest.....yikes.

 

That's CBS. They're putting the next Star Trek show on their All Access channel (like $6 a month) and releasing it weekly...and with ads!

 

And I'll be streaming or torrenting it for free. Fuck these companies

I'm somewhat optimistic about Wonder Woman. Patty Jenkins is really good.

At the least, I get to stare at Gal Gadot for two hours.

 

I think it's going to be good, and that critics are going to feel pressured to praise it, giving it a double-bonus.

WW screened on WB lot last night. People can't publicly give their thoughts but some reactions unofficially coming out and sounds mildly promising. I'll take an average movie at this point.

 

Average for DC at this point would be a masterpiece.

 

Rumors that JL has already been retooled at least once if not twice.

 

I'm sure it won't be garbage.

I remember the feeling I had for the Dark Knight premiere. What a slide backwards.

Honestly every costume I've seen in the JL trailers has been dogshit.

And costumes aren't something I give a shit about. Flash and Cyborg are terrible.

Quite impressive that DCs shows on the CW are more well done than their motion pictures

DC is better on TV (I like Gotham/Lucifer as well on FOX) than in movies. I think the darkness lends itself better on TV as well, unless you have Nolan direct everything.

Marvel is superior in the movies but their TV shows are largely mediocre. (AoS, Legion are decent-good)

 

Don't forget iZombie, which is now getting a fourth season.

 

So Billy Crudup shows up as Flash's dad in JL trailer and has already dropped out of the Flash film

 

I like this show but the "different personality every episode" thing is getting old.

 

I haven't read the comics so I can't say how faithful that is, but I'd agree that has painted them into a bit of a corner. Although they seem to have given themselves an out this season for it.

After three seasons now, yeah. Same reason I stop most procedural shows around this time.

 

I've only seen one episode this season (been busy it's still one of my favorite shows). I like the different personality thing, but that's just me.

Legion is also superior to anything DC has on TV and I love season 1 of Flash and the first few seasons of Arrow.

 

Netflix =/= TV imo

The acting, cinematography and visuals are superior to the CW schtick, that's not to be seen. I've seent it!
