Scoring goals off build ups and not all set pieces ? Yup! They’re also resilient and don’t fold after goals. Haven’t been like that since the Roberto days.
Truman How much has Everton helped dull the pain for your overmatched college football team? They’ve helped me a lot. Bless you Saint Carlo
I want to give all fringe players a shout. I’m top of the “Davies hasn’t been good enough” club. But him, Gylfi and Delph were very good today. Iwobi too. The ball to doucoure for the final goal was so perfect.
Davies had some frustrating give aways in the offensive third, but also made some great tackles. He got exposed a bit when moved to RB but also came up w that huge block after Pickford punched it right to the Brighton player. Iwobi just isnt a winger. He's great in the box but he doesnt run tackle or defend at all. Would mind seeing him play in the Gomes/Gylfi spot. I think he'd thrive there
This is good for Kean and us......let’s how he does at PSG, maybe he plays well and his valuation rises
Not sure how he’s gonna get playing time w Mbappe Neymar Icardi ect. I suppose he could get more time vs the lesser Ligue 1 teams while those guys get UCL minutes
Feels like 25 is a lot for a 4th CB that is a bit of a project. I guess It’s good insurance in case they can’t hold onto Keane or Mina in a couple years.
I like Godfrey signing.....Mina will always get hurt, Keane is what 27? Holgate got the injury bug, this kid next gen stats are right there with Holgate and plays CDM too and he’s only 22 ? I like a versatile young player with pace and strength, with the health of our CB I feel like there will be plenty of run......plus with Europa aspirations and cup runs we need quality for those
I dont think there should be too much made of him being a CDM. He hasnt played there in 2 years, but suppose he could in a pinch
