I can’t feel mad since yesterday was the first day in a year James got to see his kid. And we were already told he was being rested.
I know I know…..that’s the deal with a guy like James u just know he’s a luxury player and he does as he pleases with knowing your not going to get a fighter with a lot of passion or be his priority at a club like Everton…….it’s all good and I’m sure Mina got some new knock as usual
That should have been red and an easy call. Dias was last man back and didn’t come close to the ball.
I was telling my brother that I honestly don’t get real worked up about getting cleaned out by City. They’re on a different level. We took 31 points against the bottom 10 and 28 from the 9 ahead of us. Got 1 point or less from City, United, Villa, Newcastle, and Burnley. Those first two happen. The last three are unacceptable and the reason we missed Europe.
Rafa would be my first choice, but I’m guess it will be more like a Graham Potter, Eddie Howe or Ten Hag
Andy, this should be a safe space for us. Please don’t bring those bad vibes into a grieving environment.
It is truly amazing how quickly I make it to the acceptance stage because of how often this happens to Everton.
Carlo who???? Transfer window opens in 8 days. Gotta push past our 1st 2nd and 3rd choices and talk ourselves into bringing Roberto Martinez back and hit that window and do some business!
We’ve got former managers at Real, Barca and the number one ranked international team in the world. You’d think we would have won something based on that.
Today was a friendly. They didn’t send the guys who got cut home yet. City, Chelsea and United players weren’t available yet
I hate it for him personally, but not having to worry about him being a surprise breakout star of the tournament and getting poached by a Big 6 club or suffering a serious injury are two less disastrous things we have to worry about.
I have this strange ability know when a pundit, someone on a podcast, etc. is about to use Everton as the example that fits the sort of club they’re trying to think of. Most recent example was a guy that was complimenting Zack Steffen and paused to try and think of a club that he would deem worthy for Steffen to be the first choice keeper. Sadly, I don’t think it’s a special talent I have but more to do with Everton being most people’s go to club when they want to reference a team in the tier below the big six.
yup like still playing at a big enough club, just not an elite one who’s everyone’s fave for the manager job ? Potter, Galtier, then Nuno for me if I’m being realistic
Galtier would be my first choice, but like y’all said, doesn’t seem like we can pry him away from Nice
