This is one of those games in past years where we crap the bed against a bottom 5 when we're in decent form (break can ruin that, I know). Be interesting to see if this year offers a glimmer of hope

Did they announcers forget that Pope made a fantastic save on Decoure? They keep talking about the Wood chance like it was the only scoring chance.

 

It was a "decent" save. Which is an apt description of saving a full strength shot with one wrist.

 

My guess is the reputation of the player taking the shot plays a deciding role in how they determine how good a save is. Swap out Doucoure for Ronaldo and they wouldn’t shut up about the save.

 

If the ref isnt going to call these tackles, Everton needs to send some the other way
