For the record, I'm not putting it out of the question that he signs a new contract. Sounded like the holdup was the release price written in at £90 million

 

thats goofy if thats the # thats holding it up. I knew it was something with the clause, but never saw what the price was so assumed he wanted it lower than what we were willing to go. 90 mil is a pretty hefty chunk

The thing with Rom is that he probably won't fit anywhere else like he does at Everton. Everton is probably the only club where he can compete for Europe and be this level of superstar

 

That's the thought. But I really don't think he cares if he's a superstar. He just wants to be the best. Period. He doesn't go out of his way to do superstar shit for Everton. Hell, Ross and Tom Davies are more Superstars to the fans in my mind.
