Keane looked better than last seasons version. Mina for Jags and Gomes in for Schneiderlin and that’s a starting XI I can live with.
Gomes is still hurt, so it will be the schneids life for a little longer. But I fully expected to lose this even at full strength so good to see Keane step up
This was an interesting read. Do you guys that know more than me about this stuff agree w this assessment? https://www.toffeeweb.com/season/18-19/comment/editorial/37080.html
It’s a very numbers way of my post of why “It’s not my money” isn’t a good way to look at our transfer dealings. Everton still have to operate a business and those cost money. Now, I was under the impression that Moshiri had payed off all the loans we had outstanding. If that’s the case, then most of that article isn’t as big but the new stadium will put us back in quite a huge hole. And as it says, it’s not the transfers that reall mess up a club, it’s recurring things like wages. So that’s something to keep an eye out for too
I think that was the problem he had when we got him. Where did you get a month? In the interview this morning Silva said he’d be training next week, but we’d be taking it slow because it’s a muscle.
Feels like they’ve completed more passss in the attacking 1/3rd in two games than all Of last season.
We're currently third in the table. Glad to avoid having to play that Champions League qualifier IMO.
I know their stadium is tiny but I imagine the atmosphere at Bournemouth next weekend will be rowdy after winning their first two matches.
Same team as last week post Schniderlin injury. No Lookman. Surprised Zouma isn’t starting, but Keane has been better.
I am worried about Bournemouth’s speed up against Keane. Think a game like this is one he can get exposed.
Couldn’t care less. Good luck to him and all, but if he doesn’t want to fight for a spot, I’ll take double what we bought him for
