we just signed Andre Gomes from Valencia. so far in: Denis Suarez, Samuel Umtiti, Lucas Digne, and Andre Gomes. I have no idea where they'll play but that's some damn good young talent
Arda has to be going out. Just not sure he fits. Gomes has great potential on and off the ball. Great pressing midfielder from the games I've seen from him.

Lose Iniesta and Mathieu. And then we just plug and play from there. Love this teams depth. I still think we may have one too many bodies in midfield. But I think we can switch some of those guys to spell the front three. Assuming we don't sign another striker

Don't feel like we needed alcacer but the best thing to come of it is the Munir loan. Hopefully he sees regular action and continues to develop. We've already got our Turan and the "where does he fit in" woes. Thought he filled in admirably during neymar's absence. We never really had a spot for him in the first place outside of loading up prior to the transfer ban. Think he could have been a reliable tweener plug. Now it's seemingly back to square one with him. We've got a youth movement in the MF. And now alcacer, presumably, is the first man up to spell anyone along the front three. We needed to get younger. We accomplished that this summer. This team doesn't have a hole at all. As great as Turan is, he will be leaving next summer. Samper will return and likely Munir. I will be very disappointed if he don't win the league. Hard to predict CL, too many variables, but we are the best team in the competition
Isn't Alcacer just Arda revisited? Why in the world would he make that move considering who's in front of him, especially for someone with big NT aspirations?
