Game hinges on Busquets imo, he's been pretty bad recently. Front 3 didn't have many opportunities against la real and Sevilla because the when the back 4 have been pressed we've struggled to keep possession. Iniesta will help that some but if Sergio plays like he has I can see this being a blow out.
Not feeling confident without Bale and other players recently coming back from injuries. I think Barcelona wins a close match at home to make the race for the title more interesting. Would love to be proved wrong by Ronaldo.
2015 is repeating itself all over again and I'm going to end up losing my fucking mind and trying to fight you all irl in ~3 months or less.
Not having Vidal for the copa final will hurt (I'm assuming he won't be back for that) with Sergi suspended. Assuming they toss masch out wide.
That's what they did against atletico when sergi got sent off. I'd love to hear who else could play out there.
They put Masch out there to improve the defense to hold off Atleti in the second half. There's zero chance he plays there a whole game. Digne/Umtiti/Alba will slot in there
We just aren't very good. I can't really explain it either. IMO, Messi has had a huge drop off which explains a lot of our lack of killer instinct
I remember less than a year ago there was an argument on the soccer board somewhere whether Barca had the best midfield in the world or not.
Crazy how far off they've fallen. Iniesta will be 33 in a couple months and has been injured so at least he has an excuse but Rakitic and Busquets look like totally different players. Add in the fact that Gomes sucks (and is played out of position) and Arda isn't really a MF and it's been fun to watch the implosion.
supposedly the club wants someone with barça ties, so valverde from athletic bilbao is thought to be in the mix as well
