713 is fine, it's set up like Revention (or Bayou or whatever people call it), with a massive general admission area in front of the stage and seats off to the sides. I've only ever stood in GA, but I'm not the type that wants to sit at a table for a concert so I might not be the best reference. Drink prices are crazy
Good info. The bff doesn’t really do concerts much but enjoys Tyler Childers soo I figured I’d make sure she had a seat if she wasn’t feeling it. So you’re saying to get a good buzz on or sneak something in. Got it.
We don't mind mixing it up with the crowd if necessary so we always do GA, but that area is so big that there is still plenty of space to breathe in the back if you want. But if you want to chill, the tables might be the way to go. And yeah if the opener is not important to you, it's probably better to pregame elsewhere. It's walking distance to Market Square and the new McIntyre's
I’m sure I’ve posted it before but Ragin Cajun has the best Cajun fried Turkey I’ve ever had. We’ve been getting it for years and there no way I could do a better job.
Ts & Ps for the next 9 months to any of you dolts that live or work in the Galleria. There will be more traffic and congestion come Tuesday night when another closure begins along the West Loop. Drivers leaving the Galleria area on Westheimer will be unable to get on I-610 using the southbound ramp. The Texas Department of Transportation said the five-year project is coming along at a great pace, but they wanted to wait until after the busy holiday season for this next part.
"You know that thing you do when you fuck up and miss your exit and it pisses you the hell off? That's what you do all the time now, ok. But also a hundred people in front of you are doing the same thing." Drivers can take a detour, but it will add time to your commute. Keep right on the feeder to avoid the closure and take the entrance ramp onto I-69 south. Then, take the Fountainview exit, make a U-Turn, and get on I-69 North. That will bring you back to I-610.
I really hate that you guys share a thread icon with Hilary Duff. I'm always way more excited than I should be to see your thread bumped.
Have only been there once, when detoured on a flight. Stayed downtown, had some street tacos. It was...fine. The tacos were great fwiw. The only person I know from there moved to Colorado when he got the chance so until there are Hilary Duff sightings itt, I probably won't be returning.
If you're looking for the most exciting 24 hours of your life, Houston would rank pretty far down on the list of major cities. But it's slowly growing into a swell place to live (under the umbrella of backwardsness that comes with being located in Texas)
Was just coming to post that, although a good friend already reminded me that the Stapleton show will be during spring break damnit
Sounds like someone has a table for two way in the back where he sits alone and thinks thinks of losing devine
They want to throw out like a million votes and have all new elections. Fucking babies just can’t accept that people don’t want them and their shitty policies.
