Delayed start, but the real alphas like me are already at work so we can bitch about how everything closes too for weather too often and everyone is needs to toughen up.

Just fucked up some pho, a bahn mi with double meat and a fried egg, steamed dumplings and 2 summer rolls from Pho Binh. Gonna sit down for a bit and take a breather.

 

Murdered some tacos a go go after the gym today. Their queso is so underrated

Their chicken fajita tacos are great and that’s not typically something I order.

 

Pinkertons was really good. So far in Houston I’ve had killens, pinkertons, and pit room. Next week I’m gonna try truth and then I’ll give my official rankings

 

The cool thing about pinkertons was the bar. Really cool ambiance and prices. I ordered 4 beers and it was $17

 

Most underrated/non rated queso is at freebirds :/

Their tater tot casserole is one of my favorite sides in town—if not my favorite—and my favorite meat option there is pretty simple, their chopped beef sandwich (moist cut); it’s probably my favorite sandwich along with Pinkertons.

Truth has this like spicy honey mustard BBQ sauce. Might be the best sauce I’ve ever had. My god

I used to go to P Swing so much 5-6ish years ago. Spent many a dollar there on drinks and touch tunes.

Once drove by on a tues or Wednesday and saw my old roommates car there while he was on a date (this was after dinner but bad look either way). I knew the girl from HS and she was well known for her dick sucking capabiities. While sitting at heights and Washington I got on p swing TouchTunes to play Too Short’s “blow job betty”. My buddy said it was so awkward explaining to her knowing his friends were behind why this random/awkward song was on yet not in the building. They broke up soon after.

 

Just got an email that Pass & Provisions is closing tomorrow in case any of you never tried it and want to this weekend. I went to high school with one of the 2 chefs and am waiting to hear back from a good mutual friend re: why they're closing so suddenly.

 

Where are you off to next?

 

In town next weekend for a wedding and it's been awhile. Need some lunch ideas that are remotely healthy so I was thinking maybe seafood. Will be in the Pearland/Friendswood/League City area.
