yes, might do Killens dinner reservation option for first night since otherwise we won't be able to get there but will get Ninfas on the opposite day. kind of cool one of the best bbq places takes table reservations
nah its at the bbq joint pit room will definitely be the move if our flights hit snags as our airbnb is walking distance to it
lol yeah I’ve lived here almost 5 years and have made this mistake numerous times. Try and go to Killens if you’re near hobby, it’s a close drive and they do dinner now
They’ve prob only been doing it for <2 years. It’s awesome because A) you have more time to go and B) it’s less crowded now when you go. Quality has seemed the Same to me

On Richmond?!? If so, what’s it like? I’ve worked in Greenway for nearly 7 years and have never made it over there, have driven by hundreds of times and every now and then wonder what it’s like. I have been to the Diamond Club next door, though (or at least when it was still the PPC), as well as that El Tiempo numerous times (and even when that location was a restaurant called Margarita Bay before it became an ET), and the Velvet Melvin across the street many times, too (which still appears to be in business somehow).
I used to live right behind here so it’s one of my favorites. It’s chill. Free games on Friday. They let you bring in any food you want or you can buy a pizza from them.
I’d love to, great reason to check it out for first time, but already in bed after taking care of a sick kid much of the day. But good to know about it, I actually went to Lamar right there and my HS crew gets together for lunch once a month (most recent was Friday pork chop at Perry’s) and a drink every couple months (most recent was at rudyards), so will suggest the cellar for a future gathering.
