I ate the extra hot chicken sandwich from Mico’s today during the Arkansas game. It was fantastic but I’m paying my dues with it now. Do not get the extra hot if you have things you have to do for the rest of the day. Go mild or hot. Extra hot you gotta clear the calendar
I had the hot the first time and it’s great. The extra hot has me with a Desitin covered butthole at the moment. It was delicious but you pay a price
I’m moving back over to Upper Kirby behind El Tiempo and next door to Kirby Ice House. Dropped off the lease today. Got a good whiff in the air. Had to get El Tiempo to go. Bless
going to be downtown tomorrow and looking for a good spot for lunch. any suggestions? been a long time since i have been downtown
Xochi is legit. And Biggios next door is good too for bar food. La Calle if you're looking for something quicker/casual. Also a ton of food halls now. Blind Goat at Bravery Chef Hall is great, so is the BBQ/butcher spot there. Understory is a different place to check out, they got ping pong tables, the food there is good but not as fancy as Bravery. Xochi probably has the best outdoor option if you're concerned about your surroundings. And I think some places along main are doing curbside dining but I haven't been eating out much at all so I haven't seen it.
That lamb curry or whatever it was is incredible. I’m sure the menu has changed but they had it when it first opened.
You have to walk by the bakery/cookies/treats area when you enter the midtown Specs. Those big ass cookies always look so good. I usually keep on walking to my poison of choice but today I stopped and got two. Damn those are good. Would recommend.
This for all the up to date technology and perks. If you’re looking for more of a cabin feel then the Houstonian. I’ve worked at both. Let me know if you have any questions.
Been there and it is really good. Didn’t have too long of a line when I’ve been, but make sure to get there earlier if you want the different daily specials.
