The most recent run on Levi's site still shows it going north, jogging back to the SW, then coming in at Fort Lauderdale area and exiting at Tampa then looping back around

 

Just like Ian this one probably doesn't pick a clear landfall location until the day before. Very strong steering systems around it.

 

Has Florida had enough time to repair their rooftops? I know when my family got hit 2nd time in 2020 the rain fucked us bad

 

Not even close to enough time. But all of these roofs are still leaking anyway. Luckily the west coast shouldn’t get hard at all. Will be some water leaking through roofs but that’s about it.

 

Looks like just some wind gusts and rain for Tampa.

 

Did y’all just tarp everything? They work relatively well if the wind isn’t too bad

 

Pretty much what gets done. But they don't last too long and even with sandbags, it won't take much to push the tarps off. This storm won't be too strong and it will be even weaker on the west coast, but at this point, whats a few more water stains? Everyone is getting new roofs anyway.

 

I'm supposed to land in Tampa at 9 p.m. on Thursday. Do anyone think I'll get delayed/cancelled based on the current track?

 

its possible depending on if the storm slows down. But you should be fine if it's a Thursday night.

 

based on the most recent GFS run? puts a the center of the low for a weak tropical storm directly over TB on Thursday evening.

Fortunately it seems like a semi fast hurricane. Still won’t be great but seems like a better case for that instance.

 

Last projections I saw were like 3 inches of rain to central florida…very manageable

 

I think 3 inches is a lot to manage.

Camping outside of Augusta this weekend. Looked at the forecast and was like damn Thursday and Friday look wet. Makes more sense now

 

don’t think it will be bad but annoying as hell to have one cross the Peninsula almost at Thanksgiving

 

UCF closing for the storm tomorrow and Thursday. We were already closed Friday for the holiday
