A lot. They were top 45 in the country in both percentage of points from threes and percentage of field goal attempts being threes. And they weren’t a very good shooting team, mostly due to losing his son who was shooting 47% in the 8 games he played. If they get Goode back (which seems likely) and/or Zrno (less likely), they’re going to put up a lot of threes. Sisley shot a lower volume but I think he’s been around 40% at Monteverde this year too
It’ll probably be portal and WVU player heavy. I’m pretty sure Goode will get his waiver and if he does, he’ll be back. I’m guessing Tucker is the other guy you could convince to stay. Rice may be on the fence, but it would probably be in his best interest to find a change of scenery. Edit: have no idea what they do with Mackenzie. I’d rather him not back personally, but don’t have a feel for what they’ll do
Yeah I get that sentiment. I think he can be a really good player if he’s utilized in an actual system but Mike just let his guards fester. And then rice seemed to really lose his confidence after Atlantis. For that reason, the change of scenery is probably the best.
That seems to be the plan. They’ll have to make sure they’re getting guys ready to buy in, but I think they’ll have a pretty nice core to build around at the start.
Honestly good. Program needed a total rehaul. Basketball is a team game. IU seems to have forgotten that.
No NIL then. As long as he uses it to supplement down the line I’m fine. I k lnow he’ll get his kid, Sisley stayed and maybe a few WVU and Creighton guys. They’re going to play 2000s college basketball so I’m willing to give them time.
I trust coach Moren but from afar it did seem like there were some fairly bad vibes on the womens side this season too
Seeing good shooting next year will be a nice change of pace. I think we’ll end up with 1 or 2 other commits this week too, but this one was huge. IU was offering more money but Kentucky did want him a lot.
Tucker DeVries (WVU) Conor Enright (DePaul) Reed Bailey (Davidson) Lamar Wilkerson (SHSU) Jasai Miles (UNF) and now Tayton Conerway (Troy)
I don’t think they’ll end up with him but they’re also in the final three for Elyjah Freeman with Tennessee and Auburn. They’ll focus on getting another true rim prospecting center and then probably pivot to any high schoolers who are uncommitted
This pitcher for the Indiana LLWS softball team absolutely dealt against Japan. Twelve Ks, 28 swing and misses, and then got the last out at first with the tying run on third base. Indiana advances to the semifinals tomorrow against the defending champs.
well I guess I'm officially old got an email from the IU Alumni Association.... IU Alumni Association will host the Future Hoosier Webinar event, and we'd like the high school student(s) in your life to attend.
A team with fight, well that’s new. Pls ignore noted dummy Jim Coyle screwing up Conerway’s name. Think this roster has something to it
Floyds Knobs, Indiana plays Pennsylvania in the LLWS softball championship game today at 3pm. Ties to IU, it’s the hometown of IU softball sophomore outfielder Peyton Drummond and her little sister is on the team.
Sick goal I was only able to watch a bit of this last night and they looked a little disjointed, which isn’t super surprising for the first game of the season and facing a really good Clemson team. They were down 2-0 well into the second half, so getting a draw is a pretty great result all things considered
No. 3-ranked Indiana men's soccer (5-0-1) made it five consecutive victories and six games unbeaten, defeating Notre Dame (1-1-2) 1-0 in its first road contest Sunday (Sept. 7) night at Alumni Stadium. For the second straight match a goal from junior forward Collins Oduro made the difference as Indiana claimed the clean sheet in a third consecutive match. IU's 5-0-1 start marks its best since 1997 (6-0-0). In the 50th matchup between the teams, Indiana improved to 34-10-6 against the Fighting Irish all-time
Very cool after our biggest football win of all time that the university continues to tear itself down from the inside “to own the libs” or something. Stupid ass state, stupid ass admin.
