Lilly King named B1G Swimmer of the Year for a third straight year The Big Ten Swimmer of the Year accolade has been handed out to a Hoosier eight out of the past ten years - King (2016-18), Brooklynn Snodgrass (2014), Lindsay Vrooman (2013), Allysa Vavra (2012) and Kate Fesenko (2009-10) http://www.idsnews.com/article/2018/03/spiusdkingbrief032018
Michael Hixon with a NCAA championship in 1-meter diving 400 medley relay team just won the national title as well. First relay title for IU men since 1971... we lead the team standings after two days of the 4-day championship and edit for end of meet result. Swim/dive programs are doing work
After years of struggle, IU transforms itself into a baseball powerhouse https://www.indystar.com/story/spor...ms-itself-into-baseball-powerhouse/494909002/
Probably not. He said a couple weeks ago that he was planning on visiting Bloomington one more time (at Miller's request) but then said yesterday he wasn't taking any more visits. Have had a sinking feeling for a while that it's going to be Vandy. Which is retarded.
Actually some positive IU momentum out there. And check the news, Kansas just got named by the FBI in regards to multiple players.
Romeo announcing April 30th at his school. Will be open to the public and the mayor (IU alum) will be there. No wayyyyyyyy he's that cold blooded and invites the public, aka every IU fan in New Albany, to come and then choose Kansas.
I really want to see baseball take care of business vs Illinois Sunday. Sitting at 8-5 in B1G play, won on a walk-off HR today to end a streak of four straight losses to conference foes VU has lost all confidence in this one over the past three weeks. Archie did with Langford what Drew did with Garland: made them their #1 priorities and sold them on being in-state/hometown heroes. If it's not IU, it'll be KU. And that would seem really surprising after the past couple weeks VU has one scholarship open for this 2018 class and is now pushing 2019 recruit AJ Lawson to reclassify and graduate early....
Most KU people think Langford to IU. Theres a few homers/ morons but smart money is on Indiana at this point.
Basically down to IU and Kansas. Saw he wore red slippers to receive his Mr Indiana Basketball award last night.
KU is talking about bringing grad transfer this wknd for visit. Nobody on our site is covering it much .
So what is next year's rotation? Morgan and Romeo are guaranteed day 1 starters. You have to imagine Smith is, too. De'Ron if he is healthy and in shape. I'd love to see Phinisee start at PG and put Green as a natural sixth man who can play PG or wing and be a primary scoring option when Romeo/Morgan are on the bench. So that'd look like Phinisee/Romeo/Smith/Morgan/Davis with Green/Thompson/McRoberts rounding out an 8-man rotation.
Also, check out the YouTube link Romeo has in his Instagram profile, senior season highlight tape with some ridiculous dunks.
St Mary's grad transfer Evan Fitzner coming aboard 6'10 with 3-pt range to come off the bench. Guess that means McRoberts won't get a scholarship but who cares
Big ten should be loaded next year, the middle pack should in theory be much better: PSU, Indiana, Northwestern, OSU Should be back to a 6-7 bid league
#Arkansas Razorbacks We just scheduled a home and home with you guys beginning this year. Bud Walton this season, Assembly Hall next.
Are y'all expected to be any good? PS: I don't really follow you guys so idk. Y all did have nice baseball unis (not the all red one) for an Adidas school
I'd expect top half of the B1G. We will have 2 guys that will compete for 1st team All B1G honors plus some decent depth.
We've got Daniel Gafford who is a top 10 pick and AA candidate, and then a bunch of unknowns. We literally turn over our entire roster and only return 3 players I think. Isaiah Joe is going to be really good, but might take 10-20 games before he gets used to the college game and physicality. We'll have a true PG for the first time in a while in Jalen Harris. If Khalil Garland can get medically cleared from his irregular heartbeat issue I'll feel a lot better about our team. I think we'll be a bubble team this year, but we're reallllllly hard to beat in BWA. In your house it's a guaranteed Hoosier win.
