Convinced all signees to stick around. Has gotten four recruits and they've all been top 100. Two have been from IN Keep it up
https://www.cbssports.com/college-b...onference-school-made-the-best-coaching-hire/ Which coach was the best hire in one of the seven major basketball conferences this year? Rank Coach School Vote percentage 1. Archie Miller Indiana 37.8 percent
yesterday F Jake Forrester became the newest member of the 2018 class. He is a 247 top 200 prospect with some nice offers heck of a class
IU men's soccer now #1 in the nation tied Maryland this past Friday. We have not beaten them since they joined the B1G and that really grinds my gears I will be pissed if we do not win the B1G title this year, been too long since we captured one
KNOXVILLE – Two East Tennessee brothers whose football prowess made headlines and sent one to Indiana University have been connected to a fatal stabbing in Alcoa, Tenn., according to the Knoxville News Camion D. Patrick, 22, of Knoxville, and Isaiah S. Wright, 20, of Harriman, are each charged with one count of criminal homicide in the July 25 death of 18-year-old Caleb Thomas Radford, of Maryville, the Alcoa Police Department announced Thursday.
Trendon Watford on an unofficial visit to Btown this weekend I do not have any tattoos but lately I have been thinking about getting Archie's name somewhere on my body because
Chances? I know nothing of him other than he's Christian's brother, is really fucking good and thought to be a heavy Bama lean
2-0 W at Northwestern for #IUMS Indiana has allowed just two goals in the first seven matches this year, the fewest allowed in seven games since 1993. The five shutouts in the first seven matches is also the most for IU since 1993
#IUMS took down Notre Dame 1-0 last night huuuuuge win now 7-0-2 on the year Indiana has posted some impressive numbers – both offensively and defensively – through nine matches this season. The 20 goals scored are the most in school history since 2005, while the two goals allowed in the team's first nine matches are the fewest dating back to the 1979 season.
BOOM 1-0 W at PSU. Fuck yes folks that's a school record six straight shutouts. 599 straight minutes without a goal allowed FB did not allow a single yard passing today. Wat
2-0 W over UK last night, now 11-0-2 on the year 7 straight shutouts. Lol Indiana is unbeaten in the first 13 matches of the season for the first time since 1997 and for the sixth time in program history. The seven-straight shutouts for the Hoosiers is a single-season program record and matches the all-time record set by the 1975 and 1976 teams that combined for seven-in-a-row. The 11 shutouts on the year are the most in the NCAA and are the most to start a season since 1979
hell yes 0-0 draw at Butler last night in front of a school record crowd. 12-0-3 on the year. 889 minutes without a goal allowed. So insane. Freshman Trey Muse is now 7th in NCAA history in consecutive scoreless minutes. IU is undefeated through the team's first 15 matches for a fifth time in program history and for the first time since 1997
13-0-3 and 5-0-2 in B1G play after a 2-1 OT win over Wisconsin. So the scoreless streak is over. Muse's consecutive scoreless-minute streak reached 966:28 minutes, ranking as the fourth-longest streak in NCAA history. Both goals were scored by freshmen, Mason Toye (with the winner) and Griffin Dorsey Maryland and Mich St have still yet to lose in B1G play so we need to keep it up through the end of the season and claim the crown The No. 1-ranked Indiana Hoosiers will head to East Lansing, Mich. to face the No. 8-ranked Michigan State Spartans on Sunday, Oct. 29. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET and the match will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
1-1 tie at Michigan St, both goals came on PKs IU needs a draw in the Maryland/Michigan match to get a share of the B1G crown. I think either of those two can win the title with a victory today
Have you noticed more PKs being called this year? Seems like within the conference my school is in the # of PKs being rewarded has sky rocketed this year. Wonder if it's a national thing or if the D3 refs we getting are just incompetent this year.
Michigan beat Maryland 2-1 in OT and captured their first ever regular season title in the process. FUCK I am pretty confident I go to more men's and women's college soccer games than 99.99% of the world's population and I would say there has been an increase in the number of PKs I have seen this year compared to past seasons. I was actually at a game today where a goal was scored on a PK. It was a good call but still. First game of the year that I attended in mid-August had one. Last one of the year (today) did too, crazy
I've seen several games within my conference be decided late or in OT on a penalty kick, or the only goal scored was on a PK. My school's season ended in the conference tournament when the ref called a bullshit foul for a PK that changed all momentum in the game, then the opponent scored the game winner in the last 10 minutes. The opponent had only had like one or two shots on goal prior to the PK.
4-0 W over OSU yesterday put IU in the B1G Tourney Championship and improved our record to 15-0-4. That is a NCAA-leading 15th shutout for the year. The 15 blank sheets are the most in a season for IU since 2001 we face Wisconsin on BTN at 12 PM ET tomorrow. Badgers got here by taking down Maryland and Michigan so they are riding some serious momentum. Should be fun to watch not a great start to the Archie era but that game had some serious variance on display with their 3-pt shooting
2 seed in the Tourney playing Old Dominion/NC State winner and then likely Dartmouth. On course to play Michigan State in the quarters to go to the Final Four
ODU with the W over NC St. Maryland falls to Albany in PKs so Michigan St seems even more likely now edit, fucking Maryland dropped seven straight matches to end the season per the IDS. Why the hell couldn't we have caught them at the back end of the schedule instead of the early portion?
IU beat New Hampshire 2-1 last night to advance to the quarterfinals. They host Michigan State (assholes) next Friday
GOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLL 1-1 after a goal directly off a corner. We're dominating this game let's get one more 27 to play
