I just think it will drop this week and that price gave me the buy in I wanted. It went up 18% ish today and it’s almost at its all time high.

In the end I think it comes down this week, not going to hold these long.

Companies migrating away from Facebook advertising seems to be picking up steam, for the short term at least. Worth shorting FB for a little while?

 

When they talk about all these portfolios rebalancing a bunch of cash from stocks to bonds, how much does that actually effect the stock or index directly?

Not sure if that makes sense but read some article today how they expect a huge rebalance soon

I would advise against it. When the Dow was in the upper 24000 range I moved mine from super aggressive (basically 100% stocks) to super conservative, something like 25-30% stocks. Now I’ve got to sweat out when to get back in, so the likelihood of me timing it poorly is high. Just let it ride

I had a little bit of cash in my IRA so I put in an order for one of the MFs I hold just to get a little discount. That said I’m sure I’ll be wishing I waited another week.

 

Dumping some calls at this 306 retest unless volume punches us thru

 

Man I just didn't listen to the signals yesterday at all. Dollar hit oversold, SPX hit the top of the range, and VIX was within 2% of the bottom. Textbook drop today

 

I still see some crazy bullish formations on the charts. Huge bull flag, cup and handle, oversold now thanks to today. Could still moon out of this. Either way, need volume to make a big move.

Oh and forgot my favorite in the big picture...inverse head and shoulders within an inverse head and shoulders. But a lot of sell signals as well. Conflicting signs just as they probably want it.

 

There's <2% downside left on the SPX and Russell, so likely it bounces back up

 

Here it comes we just dropped through that level it was holding at around 303 with volume.

Algos just juiced us up they did not like dropping under 303 for some reason. Everything pumped on low volume on my screen.

 

So will the market take everything back in the final hour?? Seems to be common lately
