gamestop will go the way of blockbuster eventually but gaming nostalgia among the degenerates online knows no bounds and they have oddly high amounts of power, started with gamergate, then to trump, then they all grew up and got into stonks
This is probably a stupid/super generic question but on something weird like this GME thing. Is this truly just the result of a ton of Reddit people buying up a ton of shares and riding the wave? At some point all these people will sell off and it will go back to where it was? Just crazy that something like this can happen mostly due to Reddit/meme like activity.
Oh, there are major buyers behind the scenes fueling this. The Reddit people are the pr for the people actually making money, essentially.
Reddit itself couldn't do this. It's the compounding of reddit people pushing it up, real money, and short sellers "knowing" it'll crash
Please try. I just put $5 into a robinhood account ~2 weeks ago, and had like $1.20 left in my account and put it into GME lol. Trying to decide when I want to sell and get my $.50 profit
If you're gonna bet on GME going to $100, you're gonna bet on Ryan Cohen because he is Bezos level mastermind. Im comfortable with that, I'll bet on leaders all day especially when they have a stock with ridiculous price action based on the flow dynamics.
This is actually really good because it was equally as unfounded. At least beanie babies offered some since of novelty.
Lol Jesus. Just looked up GameStop to see how it was going today. Why didn’t you assholes tell me to buy calls instead of puts?!
Jesus that guy on reddit that has been posting his position for like a year must be at 15-20M. He retired - so bad ass to have that conviction for that long
This is so dumb. I'm sad I missed out on holding one of those scalps for massive gains but this is entertaining as hell.
