I've heard great things about that lift. It was close between that one and the Rubicon Express lift. Went RE bc the RK was on a back order so it made my decision easy. Good luck with the install.
Tears have been shed. My oldest wrecked my girl. Now to find out if she gets fixed or I get a new one.
I saw a four door that was off white with off white flares and it was gorgeous. I couldn't get phone out quick enough and can't find a picture even remotely like it. Think it was a vinyl wrap. Made me want a Jeep.
Na, 2007 was first year of the new body style and they changed engines. Went to a 3.8. They are fine for 2 doors but lack power on the heavier 4 doors. They upgraded the engine in 2011 to a 3.6.
Ok so I shouldn't be concerned about the lack of a straight six? Found another one in Houston which is silver. Its an 03 Rubicon with more upgrades. I like the black better. Was curious if it was anything I should be worried about. Here is the black one
Depends on what you are buying it for. Daily driver, post 2007. Weekend fun and offroading, pre 2007.
I had a 97 Wrangler soft top for 16 years- I loved it but sold it two years ago. I have two kids and was contemplating a new 4 door but I am concerned about road noise, rough ride, etc with kids. The wife has an SUV for 95% of our family trips, so mostly this is my daily driver to work and such. For those that have the 4 door with hard top- how is noise, ride, etc? The soft top on highways was just unbearable at times.
I have a 2013 JKU that I've had since new. I have 33's and a hardtop on it, and the highway noise is louder than other vehicles, but way better than the TJ's. I also had a 97 TJ, and comparing that with a soft top to a JKU with a hardtop is comparing apples to oranges. When I put my Trektop on, it is noticeably louder, but I make a 30 minute commute daily on the highway, and it is fine. Now, the mpg's on the other hand...
I figured it had to be a ton better. I really miss owning a Jeep so I may pull the trigger. I really like the 75th anniversary edition.
Hello yes... looks like I will be joining the ranks of you fine and distinguished gentlemen tomorrow... Very excited.
Wanted a Willy's Wheeler W. But just not in stock... So getting a Wrangler Unlimited Sport S (So I get all the basic shit like remote keyless entry), Mojave Sand color, Hard Top, 3.73 gear ratio, U Connect, etc, LSD added, with the Willy's wheels and tires (Dealership had 2 or 3 sets laying around) Long story short a Willy's W without the Decals or the black grille. Pick it up tomorrow. I'm coming from an all wheel drive BMW 328i...
Unduly harsh to the BMW... great car, and killed it on snow and ice around town, but yeah, time for something larger and more
Officially a member. 2005 Rubicon with the 6 speed. Already working on projects for it. Tune up stuff mainly. Will try and post pics tomorrow.
Hello, I have a Jeep. I wish to subscribe to your newsletter. I had a CJ-7 just out of college and loved it but driving to work in the rain and having it leak on me proved to be impractical. The mx $$$ was killing me, for I had barely two nickels to rub together at any given time. I promised myself that when I got to the point when I could get one again just for fun, I would. I got this one six years ago. 2002 X with 71k miles. I put about 1200 miles per year on it and I don't run it hard or take it off road. Spoiler I promise to keep doing the "Jeep Wave". Thank you for your consideration in joining your club.
I think I might be leaving the jeep club soon . Love my 2dr Rubicon but need more room, going to look at a few trucks this weekend.
