Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) So Agudelo has more goals for the US than in MLS right?
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) You know any other young Columbian soccer players who we can help their parents realize the American dream?
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) my cousin's uncle (from his other side of the family) actually brings in colombians to play in the mls. he brought in fredy montero and miguel montaño to the sounders
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) lol at jersey Agoaldelo is successful despite that shit trash cesspool of a state
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) 1. tim howard would've cleanly saved that ball like a champ. 2. team agudelo. love his game.
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) New Jersey is an awful state for developing soccer players. Why would any athlete want to live here? signed current country representatives, Tim Howard, Jozy Altidore, Juan Agudelo, Michael Bradley, Giuseppi Rossi ...On a serious note, it really doesn't matter what state Agudelo calls home, i'm pumped to have him represent our country

Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) At this pace he's maybe got another year or two after this in the MLS before serious Europe money comes calling. I know several teams already wanted to buy him last year.
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) My god, Bradley finally gets it At some point Agudelo will likely get his first U.S. start, perhaps even as early as Tuesday against Paraguay. But even if he comes off the bench again in Nashville, it's worth pointing out that Bradley is already fast-tracking Agudelo, choosing to bring him into this week's senior national team camp instead of having him join the U-20 national team in Guatemala.
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) http://www.nj.com/soccer-news/index.ssf/2011/03/juan_agudelo_has_quickly_becom.html the closeup of agudelo's tongue out celebration would make a nice gif
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) I agree that will happen, but American kids who have gone to Europe so early have rarely panned out.
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) That's why he definitely needs at least another year after this one in the MLS before he should leave, if not two. Jozy's problem was that he started so young at age 16 with the MLS, so he thought after 2 years at age 18 that he was ready for Europe and needed to make his move. Obviously that was still way too early for the kid to be in Europe. Juan is already 18, and just getting into the MLS a full 2 years after Jozy did. I think Juan can be more mature, and after two solid season in the MLS, he will be 20 when the January 2013 transfer window opens up.
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) Example #2, Freddy Adu. Got his start at age 14 in the MLS, spent 3 years here before he felt his window to move was ripe for the picking. Only 17 years old, a full year younger then Agudelo already is. I think the results of both Jozy and Freddy will definitely skew people's expectations for a move to Europe in the near future for Juan. But you just have to remember, he's already a year older then Freddy was when he moved to Europe, and the same age Jozy was when he went. Juan's going to be ready for it. I think a 20 year old can be light year's ahead of a 17 year old and 18 year old in terms of maturity. I've got really high hopes for the kid.
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) I'm disagreeing with you at all regarding the comparisons between him and Jozy. I was thinking of it as more a maturity thing, being thousands of miles from home, hanging around grown men all the time, with practically unlimited supplies of booze, women, or whatever.
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) should be noted that Jozy looked thinner than he has in the past
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) He also looked a little quicker, his touch is still turrible though.
Re: Tough Break Jozy (Official Juan Agudelo Appreciation Thread) D C United vs New York Red Bulls 0-4 GOAL Agudelo
Re: **********Official Juan Agudelo Thread********** Juan's was closer to the goal but vaguely familiar Thierry Henry - Arsenal VS Manchester
