Mata may be the one to end De Gea's player of the year streak. He's been phenomenal so far this season.
Four consecutive draws at OT for the first time since 1980. It's been 3 months of spinning the tires for this bunch.
Mourinho likely going to get a touchline ban again. Was officially charged with improper conduct by the FA today for kicking that water bottle.
Shaw off at half time. Thought he had an okay first half. Gave the ball away a few times but hasn't played much. Didnt watch the half time stuff so it may be an injury
I don't think Mourinho is much of a fan of Shaw. At least that's what the media has been reporting for the month or so. Edit: Apparently he did pick up an injury and was subbed off.
Didn't get to watch the game but it looks like Mhkitaryan might be rounding into form. Great to see Martial get back on track too. Hopefully he regains his form from last season. He has too much talent to be sitting on the bench for most games. Also nice to see Schweini get a few send off minutes, even it was just in mop up time. I expect him to be one of the first guys out the door in January. Also a reminder that United are now 8-1-0 when Carrick is in the starting 11. We've also scored 3+ goals 7 times and 6 of those were games that Carrick started.
Mkhitaryan was amazing today. He just needs to start. I hate seeing him come in with 20 mins and try to affect the game. I think hes much better when given the start and into the flow of the game.
Thought it was a pretty solid effort across the board. The goal we gave up DDG needs to do better but he is still our best player. Rooney was very effective in the midfield. Would have liked to see Jose make a couple earlier subs. Would have been nice to get Rashford a goal and 20 minutes. No need to play Ibra 90 mins every match.
Yeah that was fluky error from De Gea. He catches that ball cleanly 99% of the time. I think Mourinho is playing Zlatan so much because he is the kind of player that the rest of the team needs to adapt to and they can't do that if he's not on the field. I also think Mou is trying to get him back in goal scoring form. He as 11 goals through 22 games so far but he scored 53 goals in 50 games at PSG last year. I know most of those were in Ligue 1 play but he is still well off his usual pace.
Well I was speaking of the ball bouncing all over the place on the goal line but yes, not sure where Skeltenburg was going there.
Wish Jose would play Blind in the MF late instead of Fellaini. Much better overall player outside of set piece defense.
