Again more than happy to win a total of 3 games the next 2 years if it means we get Lawrence and have him for the next 12-15. Just hope we use the time between now and then to rebuild the OL so he doesn’t get crushed.
I need the worst QB in the league to be ours the next few years...need 0 wins Feel like Teddy can get us 4-6 wins
Keeping tannehill for another shit year makes more sense than Teddy imo People that think Teddy, who hasn’t taken a meaningful snap since....2015?.... is the answer I really can’t understand.
Define "the answer"? Dont think anybody thinks he is the QB of the future Think he is a capable stopgap until 2020
Why do we need or want a capable stop gap? Why would we fuck up a comp pick to win 5 games instead of 3? If you’re not looking for an answer, why not just use tannehill or someone else?
My guess is that they want to use this throwaway year to take a gamble on someone like Bridgewater to see if they can get lucky rather then waste another year watching tannehill be mediocre on the way to 7-9
I just think there’s very little difference btw him and RT so why fuck up our pick. I also wonder if TB wasn’t from Miami if he’s even be desired. Nobody else wants the guy
This right here. No risk in taking a flyer on Bridgewater if they can come to terms. His ceiling is higher than Tannehill and is only 26. Worst case, they are taking a QB high next year.
nobody else in the NFL is hunting for a starting QB. I absolutely think there is a difference. TB is 5 years younger then RT and was a lot better than Tanny prior to the injury. I agree with you that it isn't worth sacrificing the 3rd round pick for him though.
If there’s little to no difference why wouldn’t you take the gamble on bridgewater? Shouldn’t change the record if you’re right, and if you’re wrong and he’s the answer then even better
Anyone know why we haven’t cut Quinn yet? Thought I read today that we have to pay him a million as of today for being on the roster.
Obviously thats a team source. So translated: a QB wants an average salary and probably asked about their plans for the draft this season.
I tend to believe it since josina Anderson said the only way TB would come to Miami was “life changing money”
Oh I believe the salary ask although 16 is probably the top of "that range". But the foreseeable future stuff I'm sure is exaggerated if he was just asking about their future QB plans.
fuck off paying a guy like bridgewater 16 million. don't give a damn if that's the average price of a starter, he's a guy trying to resurrect his career. I'd rather save that 16 million and roll it over to next year's cap then give it to a placeholder QB. Suffer through with Ruddock. It's a blown year anyway.
