Feels more like “lack of a decent OL and Derrick Henry were holding the dolphins back”. Gase too though
If he's there you have to take him. Take the risk. Don't drew-brees it. But if he's deemed healthy I don't know why anyone is assuming he falls below burrow. Would it really shock anyone if Tua goes #1?
It’s a perfect situation draft him, let him sit year 1 and get healthy. Let him learn under Fitzmagic and we can reload this team through this draft, next and FA
I’m worried about him holding up physically Which would make me inclined to sit him while we bolster the OL
On a talent basis, not really. He's always been a superior prospect before his injury. Now whether the injury scares bump him below Burrow in the Bengals mind, I don't know. Wouldn't terribly surprise me to see him go 1 though.
I don’t think so Bengals, skins, giants and lions all need their picks bengals taking burrow Skins young Giants need Andrew Thomas and Patricia is in win now mode or his ass is gone in Detroit so they’ll take somebody that can make an impact now
Right. Everyone on Twitter is just assuming the dolphins have the decision to make on Tua but it's not really known yet. I know it's easy to say while in the middle of burrowmania
I hope so. But I can see another team jumping us to get him. He’s a fan favorite type of guy. We can’t be the only ones that fall in love with him.
Exactly. There will be someone who wants to move to 3 or 4 to get Tua. I’d be shocked if we make it through pick 5 and still have all of our top picks if it’s Tua or bust
He has hits one deep ball and all of a sudden he’s a hall of fame qb His other 5 completions (he only has 10 passes so far) have gone for 35 yards
Lol. He's winning on the road in the playoffs again. And who ever said "hall of fame" captain hyperbole? But The notion that he wasn't good enough to be a successful football team is asinine. Always was.
He threw for 72 yards last week....seventy fucking two I think last week might have had a bit more to do with the defense
Dude. Enough Of the micro justifications. He took over a team after the season started and is on the verge of the AFC Championship Game. (Even if they lose tonight) This entire thread just needs to apologize and admit it was wrong.
Wouldn’t the micro-justification to be judging him off a couple decent passes rather than years of him being terrible? To diminish how amazing the Titans defense and Derrick Henry have been and give the credit to THill is absolutely insane
Actually I'm basing it off the entire season that's led to this point but ok Also he's excellent at presnap which won't always show up in his passing stats in a silo
I was ready to move on after last season but he absolutely didn't have years of being terrible here. Up until last season he was always solid.
I glanced right over that. You are really misremembering his time in Miami if you thought he was terrible.
He’s solid. He’s a top 15 QB. Both sides still need a fresh start. No regrets about letting him walk.
Same. He's pretty good but it clearly wasn't gonna work with our roster and especially not when we decided to blow it all up. He's a guy that can play well within a good team. Honestly rooting for Tennessee all the way for him and Wake. It's a shame Wake is hurt.
When I was getting scuba certified in Harbour Island I saw Lauren walk past me and I knew that I knew her from somewhere but couldn't place it. I'm thinking maybe from college or something and racking my brain. A few minutes later Tannehill walks in and I put it together. Ended up going on a dive with them. /Coolstorybro
