Going full homer here but my dream scenario for the draft is Jaylen Waddle. I think Parker and Williams are legit on the outside, but we lack that reliable speed guy that can dominate in the slot. I also think we need more speed at WR, that's an element we don't really have. I'm SO over Jakeem Grant, and I think Waddle would be an absolute nightmare to cover and would be a huge weapon for Tua. The familiarity would also be there. I think Waddle is more dynamic that Ruggs, Jeudy, Smith, and Ridley who we've put out recently, and would instantly be a top return guy. Other than adding a slot WR, and maybe a C and RB, I think the OL is pretty dang solid. We have a nice foundation on offense just need one more playmaker.
It would have been a low risk high reward move, but I’m totally fine with him going elsewhere. Would much rather grab someone in the draft next year who is going to be a key cog for the longer term. Bell might get upset at the drop of a hat or not be a great culture fit either.
I'm more and more down with the idea of taking Waddle with our first pick if he's still there. The way he's playing he may go top 3. Hell, trade up if you need to. Waddle with Tua and I might jizz on the spot.
That's pretty usual with an interim coach. It'll settle back to normal in a week or two most likely. Watson is the real impediment here. He's gonna win them some games himself.
X had a shaky game earlier this year (I think it was maybe the Bills game) but he's been rock solid since.
Wilkins has shown massive improvement which is awesome Gase is so bad that we won easily with Fitzpatrick lowkey playing pretty shitty imo
