I'm hoping that injury is the explanation for how far Tannehill has regressed and how bad the play calling has been. Nobody burst my bubble pls
I still don't think Tannehill at $20M is the answer, but I think it's pretty obvious in the play calling today that Tannehill has been limited with his shoulder. That or Gase had a come to Jesus moment this week sometime.
As good as the D has been, you can only hang on so long with DL dropping like flies. No Charles Harris, Wake, Hayes and Quinn and Woodard have already gone down today
Weekly reminder that we renegotiated his contract to kick the can down the road so instead of being able to cut him with zero dead cap space at any point in the contract he will have like 15 mill in dead cap if cut next year.
I take what I said about play calling being better. After that first drive we went right back to this bomb or 5 yard shit. It's just never going to work. It forces perfect execution, no penalties, no drops, gotta hope for a missed tackle or two. That shit will never get you more than a score or two a half unless everything is going right. Shit drives me crazy. Utilize that 10-20 yard area of the field, goddammit.
What an awful no call on an obvious PI. And follow it up with a fucking wr screen with the game on the line on 3rd and 10. Fuck Adam Gase
Guess I didn’t realize how bad Tannehill is....but don’t act like Brock is the long term answer either
Osweiller and Tanny are both trash. We need to draft a QB. The win today was nice but anyone acting like Osweiller can be an answer is far more desperate than your average Dolphins fan and that's saying alot considering how desperate we all are.
Umm this is unusual https://www.google.bs/amp/s/amp.nfl...ff&p.bgc1m=%230964bf&p.bgc2m=%23053a74&sr=amp
Ive been to a lot of games (football, baseball, etc...) in my life but nothing compares to yesterday. Ups and Downs, Peaks and Valleys, wow. Unreal, only bad thing is 40% or more of the stadium was Chicago people Can't believe everything that happened
still only 24, and wont turn 25 till August. Happy he slid and we took a chance on him after "smokegate"
Can't be understated enough how much of a step he's taken this year. Our gameplan as a whole vs. Mack and Chicago's pass rush worked to perfection. He was just dominant.... Would love to see Raekwon take that next step next year. LB play is OK but it would help the D take that next step if we could find a stud LB
Vegas gives the Dolphins a 67% chance of making the playoffs, only 3 AFC teams above us atm (pats, chiefs, ravens)
One look at our next 6 games show why. We should win 5 of them... at Green Bay though is the one we probably have no business winning
I refuse to believe this current team makes the playoffs. But then again the Bills made it last year.
2-4 with the worst offense in the NFL and bro was ITT posting tweets. lmao. but yeah, im not getting getting the football pulled from me again.
Funny story I sat right next to jack in the bleachers when Nick was playing in high school. He was watching his grandson play while eating Wendy’s, cheeseburger and chili. Legend.
Yeah I said from the get go he could walk if he wanted more than 10-11M. Dude's a nice player, but he's not really dynamic enough to be worth top WR money. He makes plays on effort and toughness. Loved the fire he brought, but in a sport with limited resources to spend sometimes you gotta let a guy go. I don't miss the 15 yard flag he drew every few games.
He's not Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, Odell, AJ Green. He just isn't. Very good WR, but wants to be paid like hes a top 3-5 WR and that's just not what he is
