Darrishaw for me if he’s there
hate to admit it being the homer I am but it’s too early for Najee
Really trying to make me a dolphins fan with Tua and Waddle.
WE GOT OUR GUY!
Yall take Najee and I'll wind up being that douche that roots for 2 NFL teams.
You’re making the same silly argument my BIL is to justify giving up a 1 for Waddle. Philly wanted a corner if they stayed at 6 they take Surtain so that means Denver no longer has Surtain there. They aren’t taking another wr after taking Juedy last year so you have Denver, Dallas, and NY who don’t want a wr at the very least you make a move with one of them if you’re that scared both Smith and Waddle will get taken in those 3 picks and you now you only give up a 3 like NothingIsOT is trying to explain to you. Maybe Waddle lights the league on fire but seeing Philly give up a 3 for Smith and Miami gave up a 1 for Waddle who IMO are a flip of the coin for whose better is something a fan can second guess.
All of this banks on assumptions that none of you know nor know who else would trade up before 12 if that’s how things were falling. I don’t overthink this stuff. At the end of the day, who’s on the roster? No one gives a shit on picks swapped. Everyone overvalues extra picks vs talent.
the only thing I actually potentially question is trading out of 3 in the first place if you thought you wanted to get pitts. I do not at all question using the extra picks to move back into 6. Get your guy.
Wow that is.... high for Leatherwood
Hell yeah I’ll take it
Ok Im here for that, wouldve preferred Roussau but whatever. We need a pass rusher badly
Isn’t this guy a huge injury risk?
Happy we took him
Now need Creed and a RB
He didn't get hurt at Miami
I gotta imagine they would do their research on his concussion issues before using a 1st rounder on him
Didn’t have any problems at all at UM
Probably same here, both are relatively high risk high reward types
Phillips is more of an athletic freak though and you draft physical attributes more than anything
Yea I'm not on board with this one...dude retired in college because of concussions and came back no?
I don't know man, two of the best line backers I've ever seen in my life was a white manlet and dude who looked like he did your taxes
Hey everyone remember Dion Jordan and Charles Harris
Would have preferred Paye or Jenkins, but Phillips has upside. Hopefully they can bring him along slow as a situational rusher
Seems like an unnecessary risk to take at 18 but hey I guess I’ll cross my fingers
Thinking alike tonight. Preferred Rousseau, think Phillips is a douche for obvious reasons, plus his backstory with the concussions was weird, but I’ll get over it. Right thought process going DE tho.
Dion Jordan is objectively one of the worst picks in draft history. This is nothing like that
WE TOOK HIM IN THE TOP 3
Homer me is happy.
Thoughts on Phillips vs. Rousseau?
Chris Simms saying this has the opposite effect of what is intended
I did sit here for the last 2 years that setting for safe is how you go 8-8 year after year. So I’m going to trust Flo to maximize these guys and make this a home run
This is where I’m at. Grier and Flores have earned the benefit of the doubt. So I say let’s trust em because they’ve been great this far
Phillips is a more complete than Rousseau by a lot, Paye idk
Rousseau slipping is kinda evidence that the scouts think that too
Was just about to post this. Rousseau is raw and might have more upside long term but he's a lotto ticket
I honestly haven’t been this optimistic about dolphins football in a long time
I think rousseau’s ceiling is much higher but also higher bust potential.
The Najee dream is dead
I swear if they don't get one of Harris/ETN/Williams
Knew he wasn’t making it past Pittsburgh
Didn’t want to pay the price to move up and get him
And I understand it, still a RB at the end of the day. If they miss of Etienne and Williams I’ll be sad though
Getting Etienne would be awesome
Man Grier really isn't good at this
This better not happen after that JAX pick
They better end up with Williams. They can’t miss on the top tier of RB again.
I like Williams a lot, but I don’t know about trading into the first for a RB
Would 36 be too high for Trey Sirmon?
Sleeper RB pick for me
kylin hill in the middle rounds
Wouldn’t be surprised if this is how it kinda ends up
Doesn’t seem like our FO sees values in moving up or spending big on RBs
OF COURSE THE FUCKING BILLS TOOK ROUSSEAU.
Look at Rousseau shit on pitts in the run game. #Bust #ImNotMad
100% he’s a monster All-pro
Don't speak that shit into existence
