Weird game but Miami is obviously the better team. VERY encouraging that they needed the defense to help win one and they came through with Eli apple out there no less.
Very encouraged by the OL again and the added running element was awesome. D was fantastic. A couple of boneheaded special teams plays and whatever the fuck is going on with the center exchanges but overall lots of positives
O-line is light years ahead of where they’ve been. Fangio showed why he is who he is. This might be the best team in the AFC.
By the way. The line judge looks like he marked it right but the umpire placed the ball too far forward. So really they had it right if they placed the ball where the guys foot was in the first place.
Just consider that never in my adult life did the term “disappointing dolphins offensive performance” mean they scored 3 touchdowns.
2-0 on the road to start the season, one divisional opponent, one cross country trip, no Armstead or Ramsey for both games, no Philips tonight. It’s a great start and we have plenty to clean up.
Stayed up till fucking 4am and still only made to halftime due to being so god damn drunk to watch this game (I’m in Europe) phins up baby. Big W
It turned into a bit of an ugly win, but I think it's important to note that the situational factors weren't great (second straight road game, division road game as a favourite, ect) and the team showed up and looked like clearly the best team on the field. It's big that we didn't get lucky. They did.
I'm fine with the decision, Tyreek had a step it was just an awful throw. But the decision was fine imo just have to execute it.
Awful/disrupted throw but yeah. Totally fine with going for that play. Still had to be an incredible play by the DB to pick it off.
In my mind, up 14, unless its wide the fuck open, just check it down, take the 15+ yards that were available and keep the clock running.
I’m of the belief with that much time left is to still do what you are best at which is be explosive and score points. That comes with risk but I also know it’s a strength so I’m good with it up until maybe that last drive when you want to kill clock. Points > being too conservative
I get it. But 14 points felt like a mountain with how mid the patriots offense is. There was also a ton of running room for achane on that play.
There have definitely been worse, but that broncos team looks like 1 slight push will send them careening into the abyss. Get up 14-0 in the 1st and you walk to a laugher win. Also, I wouldn't play Armstead in that game either. Keep waiting it out with him.
It would be very legacy dolphins to lose the loner after those 2 wins. but this ain’t the same dolphins baaaaabbbbbaaaaayyyyy
Yea, I'm feeling strangely confident about this team. The way the offense can seeminly score at will when things are clicking...
At this point is fairly obvious this definitely ain’t our typical dolphins. Mcdaniel is legit and we’re lucky we landed him
I wanted pitts but I feel like I really liked getting waddle Once it happened. Wasn’t the whole deal wanting to stay up to get chase?
