Pretty cheap deal, most sources were estimating like 18-19mm a year a little surprised we weren’t more involved at that price but oh well
so we just gave a 4mm 1 year deal to a guy who has never been able to stay healthy as our S https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/dolphins-take-calculated-risk-at-safety-01jp2k8vnzxw pretty huge risk. seems like grier is going for the most injury prone guys as per usual
Yeah I'm fine with injury prone at that price point. Not sure who's even available anymore for a locked in starter at S though.
I think Justin Reid is still out there, who would be a very nice S. I'd be very happy with him... would much rather have him than Bosa.
I'm guessing the bridges were burned and both sides decided to move on regardless. I'd absolutely have kept him at that amount.
So we still need the following starters: OG, CB, LB, plus 1-2 safeties, possibly DT b/c can't really rely on the hope Calais comes back That's a lot to ask out of a draft class. I'd be shocked if we capably filled half of those needs nevermind the depth we need. It sucks be the reality is... if we get a decent off we really should move on from Reek. Looking at his contract I don't see how we can possibly keep him more than one more season anyway.
Solid get there I don’t hate that Westbrook Ikine also signed as the #3 WR he’s also very solid not bad!
Bills got Bosa, pretty happy we're off the hook for that one. Saints got Justin Reid for a very good price, 3 years 31mm I think. Wish we had been in at that price but oh well.
Once again, an absolute joke that the #1 FA last year getting injured drops the comp pick a full round. Wilkins is still going to be a Raider for the next few seasons, makes zero sense to punish the prior team.
