The NFL draft thread seems to believe it's a good move so I feel like I'm just being negative. Bring on Rosen
Fitzpatrick is irrelevant in the evaluation of the trade for Rosen. Who cares if he doesn't get snaps. I think it's fair to take the tweet about his passer rating under pressure with a grain of salt considering the coaching and playcalling. I'm betting Rosen was in a very high percentage of 3rd and longs
Barry Jackson is a hack who relies on PFF metrics for any opinion he has so I take everything he says with a grain of salt. He conveniently forgets that Arizona was historically awful last year, especially along the OL, and had inept coaching from top to bottom. A second rounder is probably too high for Rosen but it's still good value in a vacuum. Also, fuck that fat cum slurper Armando Salguero. He questioned whether whether Wilkins was an "impact player" last night in his column.
Yeah I get that. But it does have merit sometimes. Especially as a rookie. It's definitely not without risk though. And right now we can afford to take a chance on a QB. We aren't going anywhere next year or any other year until we get a good one
damn you ethan. you took my thought with the second round (I'll test the water, buy the generic brand and hopefully it tastes just as good), but I had literally burned all of them out my memory.
IIRC because he was a rich kid who has interest in a lot of other things a lot of people questioned if he "loved" football
Seems like the biggest ones were that he was spoiled and didn’t care much about football and was a poor leader. Kinda like a Cutler personality.
I'm shocked that someone in the Dolphin organization hasn't curbed-stomped him after all of these years and revoked his credentials.
Tavai from Hawaii was a guy the Miami bloggers loved because he fits what Flores wants to do Not a surprise Patricia got him before we could
Regardless of how well we do next year with Fitz (or Rosen), we will have the draft capital to trade up for a QB, if necessary
I'm fine with it. If you are going to be a team that always has a bunch of picks, you have to punt on a draft at some point to acquire all the future assets.
