Btw apparently Taco’s attitude was shit which is why they made him a healthy scratch the last few weeks
I am only interested in the revisionist history that Grier was only bad then because of Gase/Ross interference. In reality, I think hiring some good people around him will/has helped Grier tremendously
I like to think there's someone the building now who has a more objective/systematic approach to talk to Grier. Grier is a scout. Scouts are important too but tape guys tend to ignore a lot of valuable probabilities and big picture generalities. Take Charles Harris for example. Objectively, he was a low probability pick. He's a pass rusher with poor athletic testing. He was never likely to succeed. I don't care what his college tape looks like. I don't need to know. And I don't care about one or two outliers with poor testing that succeeded. I'm trying to stack the odds in my favor, not hit an inside straight. There's so much other stuff like this that can supplement scouting. I tend to think or hope that Flores brought some people over because Tua feels like a pick against Grier's first instinct.
let’s not forget tannebaum feel like it was 40/40 split in final decision making between him and gase Grier got about 20%
Put it this way - once he knew we had our quarterback, he could finally rest easy. Miami Dolphins: Endgame rolls credits
When do they bite the bullet and make the throwback uni's the primary ones. So much better. The lighter aqua is and logo is a cool alternate style, but the classic jersey's are so much better.
The throwbacks win by a mile. A few teams would be well served to go back to throwbacks. Us, Falcons (black jersey white pants dirty bird era were some of the best ever), Broncos, Rams I'm probably in the minority that likes the current Eagles better than the throwbacks.
I haven't bought a jersey in my adult life and I'm seriously contemplating a white throwback Tua. The excitement is real.
Someone make a Jaylen Waddle in a Dolphins jersey photoshop and we'll test the true power of my avatar
Let's win something before people start patting themselves on the ass. Dude could be unemployed in two years if this doesn't work out. On paper, he's been fantastic thus far.
While true, it's also the case that of you have an elite QB, the GM has a huge margin for error. Just look at Grigson in Indy. Lack of a QB magnifies every error. Great QBs hide them.
Is there any talk of us officially going back to the old logo or is that just wishful thinking thus far?
I'd like to think they've seen the widely positive reception towards the throwbacks whenever they bust them out and decide to make the switch but I haven't seen anything close to official about it.
All the custom throwbacks are sold out on the site. Those are selling better than his official jersey
