Gesicki to the Pats for 1 year, $9mm. Wow, surprised he couldn't get more than a 1 year deal. I was hoping somebody would pay him so we could get a nice comp pick. But, I think that's based on who we bring in as well so maybe it really didn't matter and we weren't getting one.
We haven't spent any money in UFA so a big deal for Geisicki would have netted us a pick. Doubt we get anything more than a 6th for that deal.
not at all. It's a 2 year 8 million dollar deal which is market value for a solid backup. The extra 8 million is all incentive based if he plays a bunch and does well.
Considering our QBs injury history mike white at that price is just fine. He’s a solid back up who can come in and at the very least keep an offense moving.
Dan Feeney... actually just looked him up and he's not that great but he's an upgrade over Eichenberg
Who y'all want? Again, my dream is Darnell Washington but I doubt he is there. Other than that, OL help like O'Cyrus Torrance or Dewand Jones. Would prefer to grab a RB later like with the 3rd rounder (Charbonnet would be nice). I suppose adding another LB would be a need as well.
Would love for Torrence to be there, but highly doubt it. Have seen us linked to Achane a lot too, but the Dalvin smoke isn’t going away either.
If he's a good player I really don't care that CB isnt our biggest need. You can never have enough DBs and X and Ramsey aren't spring chickens Kinda surprised everyone here hates it so much
Its far from the "last thing we needed". Its also not our biggest need either. I just don't believe there's some obligation to plug needs with second round picks.
Fwiw, Griers son plays for SCar so I'm guessing he's very familiar with whatever character issues he may have.
The complaint is that we had other needs to be addressed. We have 3 pretty good corners. There’s nothing wrong with depth tho
