Love Gase, but one thing is for certain- he needs to quit being stubborn/arrogant about the OG position. After 2 years under him and what seems like over a decade we’ve tried to patch both guards with cheap bandaids and it continually bites us in the ass. The main reason, though their are plenty, why our O sucks so much is because we can’t run the ball at all this season bc our interior OL sucks ass. He tried to act like OG was not a big deal all offseason and it’s come back to bite us big time. Just once can we spend some money on a free agent G or C? It’s a somewhat cheap position and Pouncey is finished
All I know is whoever our OL and secondary scouts are are just stealing money and have been for almost a decade Howard? Stinks Tankersly? Early but he doesn’t look so good The rest of our secondary minus Jones are just average journeymen McDonald better be the second coming of Ronnie Lott or this secondary is only going to be picked apart more I don’t even want to speak of this OL, which somehow has 3 1st round picks starting on it
For all the talk about Tunsil this offseason he’s been disappointing as well. Not awful but mediocre... they were calling him a future HOF this offseason Also hate we cut that year off of Hayes deal. He’s old but he’s been damn good. Still don’t know why we did that
