The Yankees and Marlins open a two-game series in The Bronx Wednesday night that might require amphetamines to watch. Since he worked with an 8-0 lead after one inning, it was hard to judge Phelps’ outing. But all he needed to better Eovaldi was get three outs, and he did that in order in the opening frame. In seven innings, Phelps allowed two runs and six hits. He is 4-3. For sure the injury should be talked about. But, I've heard entire segments multiple times today on ESPN radio about how the Marlins as a team will be effected/how the Marlins are doing. A breakdown of the Marlins as a team does not belong on national radio airwaves. It should be a 2 minute blurb about how well Stanton has been playing and how this is an unfortunate injury.
