Agree with all this. Max would have to come to 55, but Max is game as fuck so I'm sure he would. Max is also insanely comfortable in the cage, He was impressive tonight.

 

Conor was fighting with a torn ACL that entire fight. He actually took Holloway down throughout that fight, and out grappled him, as hard as that is to believe.

 

Missed the fights tonight and trying to avoid spoilers so not reading thread at all. Is there somewhere that gets replays up quick?

 

I agree, I don't doubt Max would take a fight with Conor at 155 but I don't think he would fare well. Tony Ferguson is the only guy I see taking Conor to the brink at 155. He's basically Holloway 2.0 with better jiu-jitsu

Aldo? I'm biased since he's my favorite fighter but I don't think it's the juice. It's a combination of getting older and fighting an absolute killer. Personally I believe Aldo and Mendes ended each other's careers with their war. Max has evolved as a fighter and Aldo is past his prime. It's as simple as that.

Watching the fight Aldo connected but Max just walked through that shit. Aldo is also having difficulty cutting weight, another issue with age.

I'm of the belief they're all juicing anyway.

 

Maybe, but whenever Rogan does a hype video before a fight, he calls the majority of fighters some variation of "possibly the most dangerous _______ in their division".

Max sprained his ankle about 30 seconds into that fight and was also basically still going through puberty at the time so I'd definitely like to see that one again.

It was strange to hear Dana speculate that Conor may never fight again in the UFC .. he said something along the lines of "I'm moving forward and planning as if Conor never fights again"
