Can't imagine seeing someone you love go through that kind of injury/brain trauma and then seeing them turn into a completely different person afterwards. He needs treatment ASAP or it's probably going to end in a bad way.
I am sure Dana will be very measured in his response when questioned by reporters about Hughes issues.
In case anyone wanted to see it... And I was surprised to see how big Askren looked compared to Lawlor
Great card, I'm actually looking most forward Zabit vs. Jeremy Stephens. It has all the potential for a fun fight.
You hate all the guys that talk shit and are over the top, then you eventually like them, like Connor. Just skip to the end, it will be more fun.
I like guys that talk shit, I just hate guys that make me want to slit my wrist watching their boring fight.
Not really. I still hate the Diaz brothers. Connor is really the only one I flipped on. And I know nothing about Askrew other than the non-stop dick sucking some have done in this thread so I'll take the other side to make it fun.
He's been really good vs 3rd tier competition. There's more to MMA than wresting so I'm interested to see how he does as he levels up in competition.
Is it safe to say Lawler is pretty washed up at this point? I don't think he gives Askren much of a fight.
The first woman in jeans looks like they gabbed a soccer mom out of the audience and asked her to fight. She looks petrified.
Guys, just watch Zabit vs. Stephens and average the 2 fights for entertainment value, that's how it works. I haven't seen Askren fight but everything I've heard makes it sound like Lawler on has so long to catch him with a punch before he gets ridden down. Woodley vs. Usman is interesting but I think Woodley is just too good, same with Jones vs. Smith. Smith has enough experience to take this past round 3 but he's going to have to pull something special out to win.
I like Robbie a lot more than I should. Just seems like a good dude. And then this is probably one of my favorite videos ever...
I think that Rory fight did a number on him. He was a zombie, just stumbling ahead into more punches.
I know he’s been fighting for a long time and he’s a really good dude but this sure does seem like it’s too big for him.
Bold strategy Ferguson. Turned down the interim title fight with Poirier first, and then turned down Holloway.
I don’t see it but anything is possible. Maybe Jon is overly confident and doesn’t take Smith seriously
That's what they have to be hoping for to pick Smith. Aside from all the fuckery around Jones's fights, he's definitely one of the most well prepared fighters in history. He studies his opponents like crazy.
I haven't followed UFC like I used to and I saw Anthony Smith was fighting Jones and had no idea who he was. Watched some of his fights on youtube, while he had some impressive knockouts he just doesn't stick out as a guy who is going to touch Jones in a fight. Obviously UFC there is always a chance to hit someone on the button and win but I just don't see him giving Jones a fight.
LHW is incredibly weak at the moment. If Dom Reyes wins a couple fights, he can be a guy that could maybe give Jones a tough challenge.
Santos is a problem for Jones. And I think they put Johnny Walker on this card to showcase him and put him in line with a dominant showing.
I parlayed Smith and Usman, $50 to win $800 I don’t think he has a chance but I thought I’d make it interesting. I don’t think Usman has much of a chance either. He can’t use his size as such an advantage like he does against other guys. Woodley won’t let him wrestlefuck him and will just land bombs when they trade.
If you don’t think they have a chance, you should try this one instead. Much better chance of happening: Zhang Walker Zabit Jones Shahbazyan Diego $50 to win $951.
