Mma's biggest heels right now are covington and this guy Neither are good at it. They're just try-hards
Speed though. Stylebender will be considerably faster than Jon, something he hasn’t seen for like at least 5 years if ever.
Usman pretty much sumed up my argument with this lame belt Kamaru Usman: Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal have 20 combined losses, far from ‘BMF’s’. https://www.mmamania.com/2019/10/8/...ombined-losses-far-from-bad-motherfuckers-mma
Go back and watch Jorge's fights from a few fights ago. Dude is king of feeling like he's ahead on the score cards and then coasting. Then when he loses, he whines about it. He got way too big of a bump from the Askren fight imo. It should still be a good fight, not saying that. I just think people are too quick to forget their past with just a few good wins.
I think it was knocking out Till and then Askren. Masvidal isn’t the best fighter in the world or anything but he’s a lot more entertaining than 90% of the UFC roster.
This, and him touching up Leon Edwards after KOing Till, having a history of underground back yard fights, paired with his general attitude I think is what people are drawn to and would consider bad ass. It's a pretty subjective definition though. I almost think Diaz is a genius for marketing it that way. Nate came up with that, right?? Capitalizing on a really hot fighter that he can make a buck on is pretty damn good. I'm just not sure Nate thought it out that way, I tend to think Nate was being Nate and it just happened.
That was so fucked up Just a terrible job by everyone involved. Hid damn dad was in his corner and sent him back out to get murdered
15% across the board is quite alot with the higher weight classes. I'd say 10% for lightweight and up, and 15% for below lightweight, would be good.
I also enjoyed it. I did not know the story about Chuck's dad trying to shoot his mom while she was pregnant. That is insane
For all that Dana has built with the UFC, could you imagine a commissioner of any other major sport saying the things he does? Dana White: Luke Rockhold is ‘a bit of a buffoon’ around women UFC president Dana White takes a shot at former middleweight champion Luke Rockhold. By Milan Ordoñez on October 18, 2019 12:00 pm Photo by Zhe Ji/Getty Images During a recent interview with Complex, UFC president Dana White took a few shots at former middleweight champion Luke Rockhold. The brash talking executive roasted Rockhold for being a “buffoon” around women, despite having good looks. “So Luke Rockhold is like this really good looking dude and girls are always attracted to him, and then when he gets around girls I think he is a bit of a buffoon.” Dana White said of (via BJPenn.com). “Yeah, he looks good. He’s one of those guys that the girl will be on a date, and he looks good, and then you just want him to stop talking. Stop talking and just sit there and look good.” The 34-year-old Rockhold in on a two-fight skid, and last fought at UFC 239 against Jan Blachowicz for his debut at light heavyweight. After losing via second round TKO, White urged him to retire and continue his modelling career, instead. “He’s got another career that he’s actually doing well at,” White said during the post-fight presser. “Everybody’s a f—king model, ‘I’m a model, I’m a model’ — that guy’s actually really modeling for Ralph Lauren. So good for him.” In a recent ESPN interview, Rockhold stated he has no interest in fighting as of the moment, adding it’s “very” possible for him to retire sooner than later.
Hell no. If he was in charge of an actual league, he would have been fired long ago for calling fans "fucking dildos" on social media.
I'm guessing the fight commission was scared to death to tell Hardy no on something. Almost has to be ruled a no contest. And whoever in the commission that told him that was okay should be fired.
Idk if there's a rule or not. An official in the ring said he could though. I hate Hardy as much as anyone but I can't fault him for that. He was given permission.
Yea in the video Hardy asked someone, they said yes, and Hardy even said "You saw him approve." before ripping it.
Hardy's fight already ruled a NC. Marc Ratner says it wasn't the commission who gave him the okay to use the inhaler, it was simply an inspector who has no authority. Still would like to know why his team even had the thing in their pocket. Those guys at American Top Team know better.
I mean they probably have on hand just like anyone with asthma that is competing in a stressful situation, so they don't die if they have an attack.
You have EMTs and trained medical doctors all around the cage for the very reason of a medical emergency. The million forms and medicals a fighter has to go thru before is for the medical pros to be prepared as much as it is the fighter to be cleared. A corner should NEVER be carrying medication like that into the cage.
I thought somebody asked him “is it legal stuff?” or something like that and he said “USADA approved”. Regardless, they gave him a can and he refused to let his hands go. He’s such a confusing fighter. Looks like a nightmare, but doesn’t have a clue what to do if he doesn’t knock you out immediately.
Glad that UFC put the kabosh on a Frankie fight, whose next fight will be at 135 lbs. Conor seems to be ducking Gaethje if first prefers to fight Frankie or Cerrone.
Why would UFC allow him to fight while under investigation for multiple sexual assaults? McGregor, UFC's biggest star, promised a "fully focused" version of himself for the fight at T-Mobile Arena, which is in 12 weeks. He said he has already started his preparation, including going to bed early every night and waking up early every morning.
