Colby up 2-0
The longer this goes the worse Woodley’s chances are
My fan fiction is Mirgliota looking at blood on the mat and saying " looks like my mudda's sauce"
Woodley gonna have to KO him somehow
This fight sucks ass
Woodley is washed and has no desire to enter the fray
This fight really proof how good Usman is
Fuck you, Woodley
woodley didn't even try to get up this round
what was his plan? what am i missing?
Woodley getting mauled in the most boring fight ever.
Woodley sucked ass on The Titan Games too.
Colby beating that ass
Fight is going just about as expected.
2015 version of Woodley seems like forever ago. Dude just seems content with being a human punching bag anymore.
Woodley, you bitch.
Get aids, Colby
Colby doing exactly what he needs to. Round 4 looking like 10-8
Woodley is done
We need Colby vs Masvidal next in a #1 contender's match.
I can’t wait to watch Usman beat the hell out of him again.
I can watch my dog dry hump a stuffed animal for 25 minutes without having to pay $64.99 for it.
Why should Colby get another Usman fight?
Because no one else can beat him ?
neither can Colby
Woodley totally done. Same horrible strategy in his last few fights: just back up to the cage, don't throw anything, and get taken down and beat up. Cardio also looking super suspect now. He can't fight these top guys anymore.
Colby looked very good. He looks very well-rounded now. Usman II will be another good fight.
No one else can beat Covington, so far anyway. Would love to see Covington vs Burns, Edwards & Masvidal
How about Cowboy vs Woodley fight..Loser retires
both need to retire and I love both
I too would like to see him fight 3 guys at once
Covington usually tip toes that line, but jeez.
UFC is gonna catch a lot of shit from ESPN and sponsors. A fucking tribe reference?
How could you possibly love Woodley? He is one of the most boring fighters that have ever fought in the UFC and hes a giant baby.
loved his Lawler and Wonderboy fights. Since then he’s been uninspired
The Wonderboy fights? The ones with about 20 total punches thrown combined?
Woodley had some really nice knockouts early in his career. He talked so much shit about how much of a badass he was when he kicked Condit and Condit landed funny on his opposite leg and tore that ACL. Great knockout against Lawler, but ever since then, its been snoozefest after snoozefest.
The first Wonderboy fight is a classic, the 2nd was obviously a debacle.
I can confirm, breaking a rib and it sticking out like that is the worst pain ever.
UFC253 this weekend
I'll try to get excited for it, but what a terrible undercard.
Can't wait for tomorrow night. If Stylebender can avoid taking too much damage in the first few rounds and takes the fight out into deeper waters he should be able to pull it out. Worried about the power disparity, though.
Yea, I worry about him getting caught early as well. If he gets through the 2nd, maybe even 3rd round, I think he will take it.
Costa gonna be back up to 225 by the time he enters the octagon tomorrow
That beautiful man making weight is one of earth's greatest mysteries.
Hate to be that guy but I think Costa has definitely profited from fighting old, big name fighters in the twilights of their careers. His last 3 are against Yoel, Uriah Hall, and Johnny Hendricks (lol). Hard for me to look at him beating those guys + a bunch of nobodies and think “damn not sure if Adesanya can handle that speed and power!” Considering Izzy KO’d Robert Whitaker.
Nah, I agree. That's all valid. I also think Costa being a pressure fighter plays right into Adesanya's counter strikes.
I am pulling for Adesanya.
Adesanya has an awful personality. Tough to root for him.
Yeah, I'm pulling for Ricky Martin in this one... I have tendency to pull for the underdog
Really think the concerns about Costa’s cardio are overblown. That Romero fight - the punishment he absorbed, and the pace he kept thru 3 rounds was amazing. The 3rd round was his highest strike output and landed total of the entire fight.
Yoel doesn't exactly push the pace, though.
That would be terrible.
