In a world full of stupid people, it's really saying something that Garbrandt stands out.
I never liked him at all.
The December 19 card is shaping up to be the best non PPV in a long time.
Edwards vs. Chiamev (Main)
Wonderboy vs Neal (co-main)
Tybura vs. Hardy
Moraes vs. Font
Aldo vs. Vera
Think that's better than a couple recent ppvs.
Why is Aldo still fighting
it’s crazy he is only 34
Just hitting his prime, why quit?
Blaydes tested positive for Covid.
I watched 5 minutes of her interview yesterday and there is very little going on in her head. She nice looking though.
I don't think anyone was excited for Blaydes to lay n pray on Lewis for 5 rounds.
What a terrible card this is
If you want
Dogs I like are Dos Santos and Maness. Also took Carlyle via Ko, Anthony Smith
some parlays w combos of Kamaka, Su, Anthony Smith, Ashlee Smith, Parisian.
Helluva first fight
Would be fine with Dana cutting every fighter who goes into the ring with a secret injury that makes them ineffective.
Has Clark never been in a triangle before? That was textbook how not to defend
I'll take it.
Parisian cost me a perfect DK card.
What are Dana White's contenders records in their debuts? Maybe 20% winrate?
Saw on Reddit where Jake Paul knocked out former NBA PG Nate Robinson and then called out Conor.
Fuck it, let's do it.
Couldn’t sleep and espn was replaying the McGregor/Diaz fight in August 2016 that went 5 rounds. Holy shit I forgot what a dogfight that was
No discussion of the edwards fight being off? I was looking forward to that.
I expected it with Edwards.
Hope they can fill that match but no one wants to fight that dude.
Edwards didn't want to fight him either lol but no one wants to see Edwards fight to begin with and you can tell Dana about tired of his shit.
He got Covid, right? Holding that against him is really dumb.
Yea, this time. I'm not really holding it against him. He wants a title shot and has turned down every other fight they've offered him, including this one the first time iirc.
You seem to be though.
This seems like a dbl'ing trap.
Not really. "He didn't want to fight him! Dana is tired of his shit!!!" bc he tested positive for Covid is a weird take.
Correct. He turned the fight down initially.
They've gone back and forth at each other for awhile now.
But dude, you can't honestly believe I would blame someone for not being able to fight because of COVID or hold it against them. That's the dumbest shit ever and you know that's not what was happening. So I was right this was a dbl'ing trap. Good work.
He turned down the fight because he wanted a top fight and not against a guy out of the rankings. Makes sense but I’m sure they gave him a take this fight and win and you are next in line assurances.
Magny has been the only one campaigning to fight Chimaev.
You may not have meant it that way, but "I expected it. He didn't want to fight him and Dana is tired of his bullshit" was a weird angle.
And I agree with that. I wouldn't have taken the fight either. I didn't blame it on COVID though.
but you assumed it was because of COVID.
Am I missing some he's faking speculation?
I didn't assume anything. It was announced he's out bc of Covid.
You assumed I held it against him because of COVID.
Well that's why he's out and you seem upset that he's out and you expected it so yea.
Was eyeing OSP as the classic veteran underdog vs inexperienced hyped up fighter but this is disconcerting.
Also before doing much research I like Collier as a dog vs Villante because Villante sucks and likely wouldn't have a career if he wasn't buds with Dana.
Wouldn't coming in early and missing mean he said fuck it and didn't try the cut?
Pretty much. OSP has been all over the board throughout his career. Looks beastly sometimes and other times looks like he didn’t prepare. This kind of makes me think he doesn’t care. Who knows.
I'm no expert.. But the dog or pass guys say avoiding the cut all together isn't necessarily a bad thing. Certainly preferable to a bad cut that fucks a guy up.
OSP will win via Von Flue choke.
Hopefully he becomes more valuable... and hopefully he prepared for his opponent.
Imagine having to fight him as an up and comer in a lower promotion
