I definitely thought I misheard him when he said something like “I broke my ankle” all calm while all his corner guys were just acting like it was the end of the round.
Glad poirier won. Wish we had 20 more seconds in the round to get a knock out on top of the broken leg/ankle
i've posted it before itt. can be found at .icu or .stream, i think. i don't want to link it because i don't want it to be super popular. the UI is super clean. open it with adblock and it might as well be apple.com/streams
Fury dethroning Wilder was great stuff. idk if you're looking for some "go the distance, too close to call" shit where everyone argues over the judge's decision but there's been good matches here and there.
I’d die if he just ran back in there and kicked McGregor while he’s sitting there yelling god knows what.
Poirier can say he was checking leg kicks, but I didn't see one. Announcers didn't see it. He came off his lead leg to take the weight off, but I am yet to see him put his knee/shin out to check one of those. He won a round. Conor stepped wrong, rolled an ankle, and broke his foot.
Kellerman was right, probably helped Conor more than anything. I’m sure he’ll convince all his fanboys that he would have won if his ankle didn’t snap and they’ll get all excited about his next crazy press conference.
My fucking stream ended about 5 seconds before the fight did, oh well got to see the final on replay.
And Dustin was taking over on the feet also. Even before the ankle went out, Conor’s shoulders were sunk when he got up. Dustin would’ve finished Conor in the 2nd even if that ankle wasn’t broken.
This is a weird moral victory. He beat the shit out of him for 3 minutes. Guy was bleeding from his ear. But none of that matters because dp didn't check a kick?
