He just grabbed a rebound under the rim, sprinted down the floor with the ball to lead a break that led to a wide open Curry three. That is not an uncommon occurrence in a GS game. That's offense he generates for his team consistently.
not a deep list of guys that can do what he just did setting up that curry 3 - contests the layup, gets the board, starts the break, and sees steph coming up on the trail
think there have been about 8 crushing shots from golden state off of those long rebounds or when the clock was expiring good try good effort memphis
Never in my 40 years of sports watching has their been a team that brings me such misery and joy in such rapid succession.
annoyance would seem to be a better word choice than misery save the misery talk for sacramento and orlando
lol yeah buddy…….you would be a rich man if you got paid for every excuse you made on why y’all didn’t win this series
Brooks is a dirty player but I respect the hell out of him having that kind of shooting night in a close out game surrounded by 30k people who actively hate you and let you know it all night.
finally had a 6 minute stretch where they looked like a veteran team. maybe Kerr getting back gets some stuff cleaned up.
Three thoughts. 1. Ja is the most exciting young player in the league. 2. The Grizz without him are somehow scarier. 3. Memphis fans and journalists going through a six game dump flower cycle was an unexpected twist.
1000% not in a close game in the 4th quarter. The Grizz without Ja do not have a closer. Saw it in both games 4 and 6.
he needs to figure out what type of offensive player he can be if he wants to be a scorer and take a bunch of shots, he needs to get into the lane/get easier shots and get to the line. he's way too inefficient to be someone taking 15+ shots. and given his age, it's probably too late for him to development that. he should probably just practice shooting 3s. that fits the team itself (he's at best option 4 with a healthy Ja, JJJ, and Bane) and means he can continue to be defense-focused. right now, he spends way too much energy on the defensive side and fades offensively later in the game (and gets in foul trouble). play that ingles role for those good utah teams.
Outside drinking so an early present for our posters of: 1 - Portland 2 - Magic 3 - Clippers- thunder 4- Rockets I have been drinking so again congrats
Here, we see Temetrius Jamel "Ja" Morant (born August 10, 1999), an eccentric point guard for the memphis grizzlies, "talking tough" (a.k.a flexing behind his screen) after his recent playoff loss. In this case, he appears to be threatening user Hesus_De (@DeHesus57) with getting "clapped up" (bodily harm and injury), most likely through firearms (in this case hollows, e.g. hollow point bullets), for being irritating in the comments of Kuminga's tweet.
I mean, I of course understood that, but just in case some other posters here aren’t clear on the meaning of “it’s free to see how hollows feel” maybe someone could explain.
Some of y’all don’t listen to 50 and it shows. “You don't want me to be your kid's role model I'll teach 'em how to buck them .380's and load up them hollows.”
