I legitimately don't understand why Toronto would move Siakam. They just made the playoffs and one of their most important players was a rookie. Siakam is only 28. There is a stew going there, let it cook.

 

Portland needs guys on Dames timeline, Pistons will gladly take that pick for Jerami Grant and help you out

 

Counterpoint is Toronto isn't going anywhere that matters without a true #1 option offensively. Siakam is a very good player, but he's proven he's not that guy in several postseason runs since Kawhi left. I don't know if that guy exists in this draft, but if he does and Toronto can turn Siakam into that, I think they have to at least consider it. Especially with Barnes capable of (and possibly needing to?) sliding into a bigger role next year.

 

They are the most positionless team in the league, I don't give a single shit how much skill overlap there is between Barnes and Siakam
