Kawhi “certified lover boy” Leonard
The return was Kris Dunn, Carsen Edwards and a 2026 2nd round pick. That's not really trade value as much as a couple teams being bored dumping players on each other.
keep sleeping on Gorgui and see what happens to you
good marketing value with that sandler movie he’s in
This gets funnier every time i watch it
Simmons could never play another game in Philly even if he wanted to
The fans would rip him apart
The Mavs can’t even get current NBA players to play with Luka….SAD
Goran Dragic is supposedly going to be signing with Dallas once his buyout with Toronto is complete.
Yeah bros, got another 6'8" PG
That’ll be a weird team when they take the last 2 years of cp3’s god awful contract
Jahlil gives you what, like 80% of what DeAndre does at this point? Great trade for everybody
plus gives them a Jokic stopper if that’s the matchup in the Finals
is this just rich guys doing favors for rich guys? why would detroit make that trade to save brooklyn so much money?
good for LMA
How many fucking roster spots does Brooklyn have
Probably one less than the Lakers.
4 second round picks isn't nothing
Another example of the league sucking up to Lebron. Pathetic!
Brooklyn saving a bunch of money doesn't mean it's not a deal worth doing for Detroit.
And I'm not entirely sure it's worth doing, depending on what they save in the buyout of Jordan. But four 2nd rounders is at least decent for a return.
I wonder what changed for KD and Kyrie. Like DJ was washed before he even signed here but they took less money so he could get that contract and even had Atkinson fired cause he was starting JA over him even when DJ was basically a statue. Nothing really has changed in terms of his ability so maybe they just finally got fed up with his lack of effort and were willing to move on?
Anyway Mark's is still goated. The team has legitimate depth now which is virtually unheard of for a team with 3 max players sans the KD warriors. Just please no injuries
Kind of sounds like the Nets are light years ahead of everyone else
i imagine losing is what changed
Why is Detroit giving up on Sekou so soon
Because they just gave Detroit 4 2nds and took back enough guaranteed contracts that now Detroit can kick off the Luka Garza era of the NBA
He is not good at basketball
Pretty much this
He's a good athlete and has some skills, but he's not good at anything at this point and is wildly inconsistent from night to night. Maybe he figures something out in Brooklyn because it's not that hard to be a role player next to those three, but he had a hard time sticking in the rotation of an awful Detroit team last year even when Grant was injured.
Ehh 20 years old 6'8 athletic decent defender? Teams have held on to worse prospects for far longer
I will say tho Detroit has been really solid for brooklyn the last couple of years tho. Bruce Brown Blake taking DJs contract. Not to mention dinwiddie which wasnt direct transaction but still. Lowkey rooting for them now
It may come back to bite them, but he just played in summer league as a 3rd year guy and didn't stick out in any positive way. Generally speaking, that's a pretty bad sign. And even if he turns it around this year, I don't think he's shown anywhere near enough to make them offer the guaranteed 4th season. I'm guessing Brooklyn just dumps him on someone willing to take a flier for nothing to save money, anyway.
I read this post in a 2016 Bill Simmons voice talking about the Boston/Brooklyn first round picks and I immediately started to not like you.
Yea I'm not sure there is a roster spot for him because him Okafor and Deandry Bembre would all be competing for 1 spot but seems intriguing enough.
Lol I did get Bill Simmons vibes from it too immediately after posting and felt incredbly dirty. I apologize.
DJ to LA
He was never going to live up to what some in our fanbase expected, but he regressed, there was some rumor of a rift w the team about not letting them know he was going to France during the pandemic, and he was really really bad in summer league. I imagine the nets could put better use to that roster slot
Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan on the same team, huh
Come on over to the dark side. We have tacos.
Did this come up yet?
Why on earth would we discuss the Pistons ITT?
Thank you for keeping the Michael in Michael Malone
That airbag thing might actually prevent some hip hemiarthroplasties
That things gonna come in clutch for me here in about 10 years
