The nets picks (and prob Warriors) are essentially worthless, teams buy at that level for 200k a pop every offseason. The Wiz pic is slightly interesting, but you’re still talking grab-n-stash as a likely outcome.
I mean it’s not abjectly terrible from Detroit’s perspective, maybe they hit 1 out of the 4 on a rotation player, but it’s not like the Nets mortgaged their future either. Save 40+ mil in tax on a player who didn’t play for picks that likely would never play either = a great big shrug.
Marc Gasol goes home to retire
Why are you sharing fake tweets
It’s not even funny
Do better Dump
He literally cannot
I wish they’d do something like give the winner lottery ping pong balls or something interesting
nothing to incentivize performance like giving winners a better chance of being replaced
team trip to magic city on the leagues dime imo
Feels like an unnecessary reminder
Average? I've been saying for years that Kelly Okynyk is terrific.
Not sure how you can be so out of touch with reality not to understand their skill and size. Also, it’s their actual job. They prob couldn’t file TPS reports as well as you!
The Average College basketball player would work a very very high percentage of people in this country and wouldn't be close either. I honestly don't think anyone understands just how large the skill gaps are between amateur, college (big boy program) and pro. It's honestly hard to comprehend unless you actually see it or play against it up close and in person
Hell a good D3 player would work a very very high percentage of people in this country. Like 98-99% of HS players don’t actually play college basketball. I don’t mean make a team, there’s a team for everyone if you really want to be on a team, I mean actually play on a college basketball team.
Not just the skill gaps but the actual size of the players as well. For a lot of people, a 6'3 point guard would be your tallest friend
And speed more so IMO. When you step up levels they are literally operating almost twice as quick in almost all facets of the game.
houston will probably eat a lot of the $ to get some assets in return
About to get real pricey out there
Overpay but as long as they also extend MPJ it's fine
I can comfortably say that the player option is unnecessary for that deal
So basically Wall is going to be bought out and likely end up on the Lakers.
Seems like he has to be traded to OKC first before anything happens
We are willing to facilitate this for future lottery protected firsts
I thought OKC already owns all the Houston 1st round draft picks in perpetuity.
Houston has a protected first from Detroit from when they got fleeced in the Isiah Stewart / Christian Wood deal
The Lebron rule
lebron is almost assuredly vaccinated you dumbass
He’s literally refused to say if he is or not
well that settles it!
give the players a million a piece and give the team either an extra 1 in between the lottery teams and the playoff teams, or give them 5mm extra cap room.
LeBron is interesting. He's not Cole Beasley, or a Wentz or a Nicki Minaj or whatever.. but he knows if he takes a certain stance, it's ignited to crazier degrees than any other athlete or star. Also he likes that too.
So many people on the right hate him anyways, so if he were vaccinated then he should announce it but I'm not going to try and guess why he wouldn't.
i mean fuck lebron and his cowardly anti vax adjacent bullshit but he’s 100% vaxxed. the league all but put out a press release confirming it last year
Wait Lebron is saying anti vax bs and IS vaccinated?
He's said it's a private family matter. If he came out and said he was, that could move the needle for some people imo
maybe I missed but I never saw confirmation that LeBron got vaxxed and he gave the same answer most that won’t take it did
He hasn’t been an idiot like Beasley trying to argue about it
Saying it’s a personal decision for sure means he’s 100% vaxxed.
Hard to say someone should come out with their opinion on something. However, it is pretty surprising since he’s been proactive in weighing in on social issues. Certainly would be nice to see him support getting vaccinated.
“It’s a personal decision” sounds like “I’m not vaccinated”, to me.
yes he should be more open about it but
that was the event he went with Drake ‘or a negative test’ . there was no way they were suspending him during the Playoffs.
No clearer path to a championship than assembling a supporting cast of former Knicks around your star player, I always say
