Watched as much of Lakers/Celtics as I could stomach last night (half a quarter) and I cannot be more confused on how the Celtics turned all those draft picks into such a collection of shorty parts? I know Brown has been out but man they just a bunch of average players around one star.

 

It's the part about "asset collecting" that people don't want to acknowledge. Having all those picks is great. If you actually have to make all of the picks instead of using them to make trades for superstars, it doesn't seem like it works out as great as you think it will.
