Well I assume he is just fishing. Ben's maximum value is a at trade deadline.
I don't know the specifics obviously but Portland was trying for a Simmons/CJ + whatevs swap but Morey has his mind set that Lillard is fair value for Simmons and apparently is willing to wait until the Dame situation hits critical mass
simmons with steph and klay as the shooters oh my.
the warriors are delusional if they turned that down
i'm not even a simmons fan and turning that down is baffling to me
I agree that it could be pretty great but I can understand the hesitance. Simmons and Draymond on the floor together is yuck in half court offense.
after picking wiseman over lamelo i guess i get that they optically don't want to admit to such a mistake so soon. shame
They're still light years ahead of the rest of us
Ha just read that Lacob made that comment right before the 3-1 choke job.
Thought he said that during the KD years.
4 first rounders seems a bit much for a guy who won't/can't shoot.
figure GS will do something bc if they don’t that is daring Steph to not sign his extension and finish his career somewhere else.
delusional to think Klay fixes everything with how the West looks right now. It took a ridiculous offensive run by Steph to make a play in game .
4 firsts plus wiseman who everyone apparently assumes will never make any improvement
If DeAndre Ayton has taught us anything it's that rookie centers are who they are forever
and taking back the wiggins contract.
wiggins was a lot better last year than he has been in previous years
playing next to an MVP level PG helps other players, I agree. color me skeptical that he's found a new level worthy of his contract.
Yeah I’m not saying he’s great or even good. Just above average now and a good defender
His contract isn’t as much of an albatross as it was a few years ago
its not that he can't improve its that the warriors have a fairly limited title window so that's why their insistence on taking projects is dumb. they need to go for it while steph is still steph
Idk if I would give up 4 firsts and Wiseman's upside for Simmons if I'm GSW, but the thought of them combining two of the best shooters ever with him sounds like fun to watch, and I hate GSW.
I don’t really disagree. I just think they could probably get someone better than Simmons with all of those assets
So, not Simmons?
i'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks that GSW offer wasn't totally ridiculous
If you’re Philly, why not just wait til the season plays out a little? Some team is bound to panic trade for him.
I guess the situation could already be too toxic, Not to mention how Philly sports fans are known to be rational and understanding
Point is valid but Ayton also put up 16 and 10 on 60% TS as a rookie
True. Forgot he was pretty solid offensively. His defense was so bad it overshadowed it in my memory
plus we saw that Ayton was a stud against college competition, Wiseman was essentially a HS prospect
A player most Hawks fan didn’t know was on the team for a big body?
sure why not
thanks for confirming how dumb and clueless your fanbase is
If you want a big body you could’ve just signed Gunners and saved yourself a draft pick
That’s the piece that wins the hawks the championship
Travis Fleecing folks
Poor Tristan was probably already sliding in the DMs of Atlanta hoes and now is stuck in the depressing city of Sacramento.
Calling it a fanbase is generous of you
Lmao I thought hawks fans were joking about fleecing someone in this inconsequential trade full of scrubs but apparently not
they’re beyond saving
Travis Shlenk just stunting on Brad and Vivek
Delon Wright is the best player in this trade and has a role if Lou Will doesn’t come back.
10 PPG backup that shot 40% from 3 is great return for the garbage we gave away
I’m just glad you know who Delon Wright is now that you’ve googled him
picking up the best player in a trade entirely made up of players that are no longer of use to their teams is really a hell of an achievement, thats for sure
Delon is so good that he bounces around from team to team in trades like this exact one every year
he’s so good that the kings drafted his replacement last night and gave him away
hawks fans are so stupid
Did the Boston not call the Kings first? Because Delon Wright makes a lot of sense for them and seems like someone they should prefer to Dunn.
I’m still a Delon Wright fan tbqh
too bad he’s on the Hawks now
Must be about the money because Dunn played 2 min of real basketball last year and Fernando might be in the running for worst player in the league
Makes sense to me if Marcus Smart is on the way out
Update: Marcus Smart is probably on the way out
Richardson was so bad for the mavs last year
