The blade on Rey’s lightsaber looks like Kylo’s and the background looks kinda like Starkiller Base. Maybe she’s having a flashback to that fight with the roles reversed.

The Emperor experimented on creating clones for decades, all throughout the prequel and Clone War years. Explain it that the Rey Clone model has parts of the Emperor's DNA.

Hell Anakin was a creation of Palpatine, if he can spawn a space jesus with higher force attunement than Yoda, he can create force sensitive clones.

 

Emperor did the clone stuff in Legends. I’m not sure there’s any ground work laid in new canon

I'm not even talking about him cloning himself, just clones in general. Kamino was the only cloning facility shown on film but that's not the only cloning facility used during the war. And Anakin being created by Palpatine wasn't in Legends, its one of the newer comics.

I’d say more of a manipulation turned salvage project. Anakin already had higher than average force ability before Palpatine was even aware of him. Could argue he was a Plagueis creation if anything. But that’s based one small part of the Plagueis novel. Nothing concrete. But this is just nerdy nitpicking. I’m with you that if anyone can generate force sensitive clones it would be Palpatine. Some midichlorian control that Plagueis discovered before his death or Palpatine expanded on. But it would make more sense that it would just be a clone shell and her dark side powers are Palpatine himself. The whole essence transfer thing Bane tried to accomplish.
